You can also get writing sets and other specific charms here more easily than rng of just random loot from bosses. yasakani dropped like 4-5 restarts in. haven't even beaten the ng+ endgame boss yet so having two yasa's gone be nice for builds :) thank god for tempering too 🙏

Didn't think I'd have to grind for a Ring of Royal Grandeur in a different game too.....

For those losing hope, I just got it in about an hour. Wasn't grinding all that hard, maybe 25 runs in that time between messing with gear and selling things. Luck is 142 from Tea Utensils (Luck +50), my clan (Gamo, +30 Luck) Tempering accessories (Hand Mirror +24, +11 on other), Kodama Bowl helmet (Luck +13) and a little on other equipment/Yokai abilities. Okay, guys. I had to come back and comment, because after about 6 straight hours of farming I had nothing. I was beginning to think people that said "I got it after x tries" were trolling. Then, today I got it after about 15 minutes... I was on new game plus, had my kodama blessing set to equipment, and using luckbringer talisman. It DOES work, just keep trying! Never lose hope!

I was prepared to spend all day getting this. It dropped on my first try. But if I try forging a divine weapon with 85% chance of success, it comes out white. That's Nioh RNG for you.

Still works as of March,12th, 2021. Playing the PC version. To all of you who got it in like an hour less... you suck. ;+) So if it ends up taking you like 3 hours to farm it like it did for me, you can break the monotony by also farming the well behind you facing the shrine, as well as the body between the fence and the small hut thing to the left of the shrine. Potential drops from the well; Small Spirit Stone, Spirit Stone, Limicite Stone, Sacred Water X1, Whetstone X1, and Sacred Arrows X1. Potential Drops from the Corpse; Always - Anti-Paralytic Needle X1 As wells as one of; Fire Amulet, Lightning Amulet, or Water Amulet. If your a masochist you can check how many total anti-paralytic needles you have before the farm, and compare them to how many you have after the farm! Seriously though, good luck folks.

I can confirm as of today after updating Version 1.08, that this method still works, I got it within 30 minutes, it just takes extreme luck.

I tried this method for 12 hrs and no drop and i wore luck gear with luck tailsman.Its much faster to speed run to the last boss in ng+ for the garenteed drop.

best spot is here in the 1st dlc tengu discipline 3rd main mission, in the bamboo forest just up the ladder next to the shrine (there are no enemies nearby) ... to bad i can't add a photo here to show

Method still works as of version 1.07 on NG+. Took around 200~ runs for me!

My buddy online is racking his brain trying to clown-suit (aka, mix set bonuses) because he's tanking while still playing as a mage. Since weight differences, weapon requirements, and set bonus abilities can make/break a build it is getting hard for his playstyle in NG+. But this will absolutely make his day!

I can confirm this still works after 1.09 patch (why would they patch something that requires people to spend so much effort anyways). Got it (level 160+3) after 2 hours of farming.

I thought luck did effect lootable items. Was it changed from nioh 1 or is my memory garbage? I know in that one I ran a full luck swallowtail build and everything from every source was green or orange outside of specific consumables.

I just got my 2nd Yasakani Magatama at the place that you said but, I got it from a little bold Gaki by shooting them. That was my 5th or if not 7th try and I got 160(+2) . Thank you.

Its still work! It took me 20 attempts. You can only do it on ng+ dream of the strong. Kodama head gear helped. Dont forget to get hunter blessing at the shrine. Like what the video said .. you get 2(TWO) ATTEMPTS per run. After the second attempt and you still didnt get it. Use divine branch and repeat.

I can confirm it does still work after the patch. Took me over 50 tries just have your luck as high as possible. I had my luck at 130. I used the Spider spirit and use all the luck soul cores you can. Had Kodoma with luck on it and 2 piece swallowtail armor which give extra 30 luck. Just gotta be patient when I got my yasakani I was ready to give up.

Do I have to finished ng+ before do this process?

In case any of you were like me and wasted a ton of time. Make sure you’re on NG+. If Aduction is under level 100, you are not in the right place. You must be in section 4 of NG+, not your first place through!

Got mine in 1 hour 30 mins. Kill mobs quickly with thunderstorm omnyo. Gained 11 omnyo skill points while doing this. Still works. Patience and efficiency is important. :D

It still works, but if you aren’t willing to spend a few hours or more doing this mindlessly and losing your wits in the process, then you should probably just rush to the final boss in ng+.

Ok guys dont loose faith, because I just got mine after trying over and over again. The truth is that I defeated the final boss but I accidentally gave it up for dismantling. I was devastated but I did as the video said and I got it again!

Hi guys. I was here for farming souls core from ghost,that red yellow and blue. They drop yasakani magatama +1. They are 3 lamps. Do not destroy the lamps,refresh and do it again. In every turn they drop yasakani magatama. I have 79 luck and I use luck talisman. I do it only for soul cores from ghosts but they drop only yasakani magatama +1. I have ten.

I finally got it, it took me 8 trials with Luck bringer talisman. I have now two of them, but still there is no additional benefit as the reduction of the set bonus does not stack, meaning if you have two Yasakani Matagma it does not mean that you will have (+2) set bonus.

I just got to NG+ does anyone know if it can drop in the NG version of the mission prior to NG+ version? I know that beating the game gave me access to greens, and green versions of set pieces I have been using on non-NG+ missions. Feels like it would be a item level threshold that enemies of a certain difficulty type could drop only, but haven't anyone state that its locked like that...

Hey everyone! It works! Im on NG+, didnt kill final boss. Was in this location to lvl up my weapons to 120k, and glory points by killing npc from red graves to get trophies. Tried yesterday didn't get it. Tried today in an hour got it. Idk mb it's RNGESUS mb smth but before start mission I used ochoko cups for divine items drop, killed 3 friends and got Yasakani from body. Got my luck 101. It's strange but I didn't notice nothing about my luck up when I used luck amulet. So good luck for all of u in getting Yasakani!

This still works, just took well over 2 hours. Had to tweak my luck over 140 and used the luckbringer talisman. Tested on PS5.

My ninjitsu is over 700 and my throwing damage)kunai damage is well over 20% yet you're still doing roughly 2-3 times more damage than me with your throwables. 3k plus per kunai with no buffs? Are you serious? I'm doing maybe 1200? 709 ninjitsu power. Damage bonus unarmored A. Damage bonus ninja power A. Shuriken & kunai damage + 28.8% ninjitsu damage unscathed 10%> untouched 27%. What am I missing? We're wearing the same sets. What is the one thing I'm missing that's making a 3x damage distinction?

One of the 3 enemies also dropt a yasikama magatama for me

Pro Tip: Use a Luckbringer talisman before looting the accessory off the ground, got it under 15 minutes this way.

Just a tip for anyone wanting to go through the grind. Respec everything into dexterity and unlock kunai. This way killing the 3 enemies take 1 second instead of having to melee them everytime.

And I haven't got a single one :( Edit: I've speedrun ng+ for the guaranteed ym, farmed this and still nothing :( Edit 2: A whole fricking day farming this and nothing.. lol just go straight for the last boss imo dont waste time here unless you need a second or third one... Well goodluck happy grinding Last Edit: Winds of Ruin guarantees an accessory as well, there's confirmation that the rewards at the end can possibly give you a yasa but still RNG, so if you're grinding for level 300, just do that one, you might get lucky and get the yasa while grinding, still haven't got one though lol.

Is this only in ng or can you do this for your first play through

So my friend and I are doing this now. He is staying in the mission and restarting it over and over by use of the shrine while I'm using branch fragments. Every time he talks to the shrine it resets to a different accessory. Do you have to exit or is his way better

Just use catwalking and sneak scroll to pick up the item without killing them if it's hard for you to kill them fast.

I just did this method.... I’m not gonna say how long, but it was shorter than going to the end...I got the yasakani Magatama doing this method. Update 1.08 The only thing I did differently was I murdered them violently, and now I have it!!!! I’m so happy!!!!!

It still works for 1.09 got in in my 35th try. Run a ninja build with storm kunai. Untouched ninjutsu if you can. I also have a luck inherit on all my gear, and the guardian spirit for luck. Shortcut the branch to make it faster as well.

Last week, I just got two pieces of Yasakani Magatama. Excited, I put both in my two slots hope to get free +2 bonus set pieces, but it's given me only +1.

Yes, I got it after 1 hour. The easiest way (for me) was to headshot the two gakis first with a bow so nobody gets aggroed (they do with the rifle) and then backstab the one-eyed child to death. Got 5-6 Toshiie's Abacus before getting Yasakani which is good too. Good luck folks!

As of today, you can only loot once. It does not restock on the dead body ... Now I think this is completely obsolete ...

With the new missions i know 1 has guaranteed divine accessory drop (divine) on NG+ (forget about NG), would this be better to farm now especially at higher lvls?
