Nioh - Farming Smithing Texts Faster

7 жыл бұрынQuick video on how to farm smithing texts faster. Clips in this video are Warrior of the West, Warrior of the East, Iga, Red Demon, and the Onryoki Kabuto. Increasing luck stat is the best way to farm these as quickly as possible.

Nioh is an action role-playing video game developed by Team Ninja for the PlayStation 4. It was released worldwide in February 2017, and was published by Koei Tecmo in Japan and Sony Interactive Entertainment internationally. Gameplay revolves around navigating levels and defeating monsters that have infested an area. Nioh takes place in the early 1600s during a fictionalized version of the Sengoku period, when Japan was in the midst of civil war prior to the ascension of the Tokugawa shogunate. A sailor named William, in pursuit of an enemy, arrives in Japan and is enlisted by Hattori Masanari, servant to Tokugawa Ieyasu, in defeating yōkai that are flourishing in the chaos of war.

I did all of this (plus the clan swap) and added a bunch of luck and human drop armor/accs. Kodama blessing too. 60+ fights with Tachibana, and nothing. Sometimes RNGesus doesn't give a shit about your buffs.

Material Kodama does work, also equip a kodama helmet

I tried farming for the Red Demon armor for several hours (I mistakenly thought that human item drop rate% gear would be better than luck). I watched this video and switched everything out for luck and got the text on the first try! THANKS!

Have you tried using the kodama cup head piece? It raises the kodama blessing by 20%. I think you get it in the sub-mission seven good tidings.

I think it's a nice comment on how shitty farming can be that the only farming quest in Nioh requires actual shit.:) That cannot be an accident. As much as I adore the Souls games, farming for certain items is god-awful. Eight years down the line, I STILL don't have the Demon's Souls platinum trophy, just because I never got a drop for Pure Bladestone despite farming those dual katana skeletons for ages. This video helped me get the Master Swordsman's smithing texts, so thanks, MO.

How do you do this knock down move with the spear? I can't figure this out? I tried everything under high stance.

the Lvl30 Spider Spirit (+75 luck), the Luck talisman from Onmyo magic, 2 Accessories with +20luck or more & the +40luck Clan will give you the crafting texts or Celestial items almost every time. I got the Red Demon Weapon and Armor texts after 2 kills on Red Demon Ii boss mission.

Thank you so much! I killed the red demon, no lie, like 150 times. I didn't know about the clan, and I swapped over to it along with the kodama hat for an extra +29 and it finally dropped in aother 10ish runs. I can finally move on with my life, lol! -RenegadeNic

Set your kodama blessing for item drop and wear a Kodama bowl for the +20% kodama blessing

I know it's been two years and it may seem minor in speed but you can use the himorogi fragment to make it slightly faster after you pick up the loot?

Go to the save thing and go to the boon selection. Should give you your dlc

Smithing text count as material so you should use the kodama blessing that boost material drop.

use a spear and spearfall cheese him. You can also try hitting him before he spams magic. The healing is really annoying.

I read that if the enemies are higher level then you the chance of rare drops increase. I tested this out when I was struggling to get the warrior of the west sword and the red demon armor and it seems to be true.

no, but the chances should be higher. I know from experience with high luck that it works with revenants.

Clavitz Rain yep is also when you defeat a revenant at much higher level say with all Exotic Rarity, it will drop 4 pieces. When fighting at your level it only drops 1 item and ochoko

and i just got all the smithing text a few days ago and the chances were much higher on way of the strong then way of the samurai

It is true, but the increase isn't worth it. It's still faster to get smithing texts by playing on a difficulty you can easily steamroll and just stacking up luck. +300 luck and 2 shot the boss that drops the text you want is the efficient way to do it.

Man i need to prey ro RNG-esus as it took me 8hrs of gameplay to get the IGA Ninja set was such a pain and I had a higher luck and human drop rate.

Its the spider spirit, it makes your weapon do paralyze.

If you want smithing texts, prioritize item drop rate over equipment drop rate. Equipment drop rate has no effect on texts.

Where can I find the chunin and strategist smithing text? Or at least, where can I farm them divine?

IIRC you can get the strategist text from one of the masters in the Marobashi mission. I believe that's where I got it.

all text drop occur from human opponents only, unless its a mission reward, so u only need to worry about human drop rate.

It's a good set for early game because it's easy to get a full set and there are plenty of fire weapons from quests. Using the set + fire weapon is a pretty huge damage increase for that part of the game and survivability isn't THAT big of an issue in Way of the Samurai. After Way of the Strong even Medium Armor is basically just for glass cannons. Way of the Demon and up are either Tatenashi/Kigetsu or you go glass cannon because you're going to get one shot by anything that hits remotely hard.

What's the point of farming if you haven't beaten the game yet lol. You can beat the game, farm up some basic divine gear, then switch back to normal difficulty and farm the bosses.

I'm a bit late to party but i recently got the game i'm on ng+ and accidently got two pieces of hayabusa threw revenant but u get him in dlc wright...and when do u go to dlc i still can get the damn yasakami tried that trail of the master and some other stuff that was on u tube but nothing
