Nissan 350z | Oil Catch Can Install (Oil Consumption)

Hey! We’re back with another Nissan 350z install!! Although we can't completely stop the 350z from burning oil (unless we really open her up), we CAN add a Saikou Michi oil catch can to help clear some of oil fumes/debris that is built up in the PCV that are sent back into the intake manifold!

Hey quick 2 questions, how is the catch can doing over a year later (not sure if there was an update video) and this may be a stupid question, but what about the vent on the driver side valve cover? Because we have a house that goes directly into the intake itself before the throttle body, on the back side of the valve cover.

Hey Johnny, do you know if the 2007 350z's burn oil as much as the 03-06 years? I know they redesigned about 80% of the engine for the 07 and 08 models, but don't know if they encounter the same problem with the oil. It's an automatic ( with slap stick manual mode) by the way

Hey, great question! Most of the oil burning issues were solved in the 07 and 08 (VQ35HR) cars. I appreciate your comment 🙏🏼

@@JohnnyB. no problem man, I appreciate you responding to my question lol I'm glad to hear that most of the issues were resolved with the newer HR engines. Off of the top of your head, is there any other issues or problems I should keep an eye on or be on the lookout for? I've put 25,000 miles on it, last year and a half roughly, sitting at 113,500 right now. Once again, thank you for answering, and any feedback or advice is greatly appreciated
