Wow! That was a intresting and complete work through. It was good to see you met up to the chalange! Good show! My Nissan 2015 Versa manual transmission has been in the shop for close to two weeks. The auto would crank just would not start. Towed with my GICO Road side service call waited under an hour. Taken to teh shop. No warnnig or check engine lights. The shop hooked the car up and diagnosed a bunch of codes. Started chasing them down. And decided to check the computer itsrlf. They had to find a ECM for $75.00 Salvage yard. Got to call him back now to find out if it is going to be the right one and if it's gonna be programmable. The mechanics at the shop says it's the right component and the programmer will be in tomorrow, not sure what time. After he gets there they can carry on to the next steps.

Brother, you saved the day. Didn't hear the blower (I'm hard of hearing). Would error every single time. Turned blower off, worked first time. Fixed 1 hour before leaving for the weekend. Saved the day.

Get the same fault happening on my wife's 2012 Nissan Maxima. When we bought it had an issue with the mass air flow sensor dealership replaced it fault was still there recently having rough idles and whatnot so I replace the mass air flow sensor again myself so now we have to get the ECM updated as Nissan dealer. Car repair stuff is fascinating though that was very informative, thank you

Do you have any videos on how to relearn exhaust/intake valve timing on nissan/infiniti? My car has been having some strange lag/delay on rpms somewhere under 2k RPM. I have been resetting my car ecu and relearning manually many times where I finally got the car running really powerful and very responsive when i step on the gas, but there is still this strange delay in power at low rpm. I can hear the throttle open but it just has this delay where the power just flips on like a switch right around 2k rpms. I am thinking it is something with exhaust or intake valve timing not opening properly but not sure. my car is 08 G35s 6mt

But do you pay for the subscriptions, or does the dealership? I also seen that you have the LSID registration on your desktop. Did you pay for that, or did the dealership?

Hey man great vid! I have the same 2011 Sentra with the 2.0L V4. 3 months back, it had the Service Engine Soon light and then, it soon followed with a VSC and Traction Control light. That’s when the vehicle was rough idling, shuttering and it can’t go past 3k rpm. Took it to a mechanic and spend $300. He said, a P0101 code was there and he reprogrammed the system. Also, he said something about cleaning the fuel system. Now, the SES light is back and he said, he reprogrammed the system again. Drove off, the vehicle completely stalled. Took it back and the other mechanic did a idle relearn as, someone did it incorrectly. My question is, is it really hard to reprogram Nissan’s or do you think my mechanic is doing a horrible job which they did. Thanks.

I have 2006 Infiniti M45, it kind of stall after 3,100 rpm. The car wasn’t reprogram after engine replace and it hesitated power, for example: if I floor the gas pedal, the car wouldn’t pick up if the rev is past 3,100 rpm. Am looking to reprogram the ecm and I haven’t find a way to do so yet except your video. I understand that Infiniti are Nissan and they share a lot of stuff especially when it comes to parts and the electric system. Will I be able to use the Nissan website to download what I need to reprogram my Infiniti??? Thank You

Can you select a different part number as you update/reprogram the ecm from the actual one the ecm module came With? Eg Curret ecm have abs and cruise control and i want to reprogram it to delete abs and cruise control because vehicle is not equipped.

Hey I was trying reprogram a 08 Nissan Altima I downloaded the new calibration and downloaded the j2534 but when I start loading the new calibration on the new pcm it start asking for a NNA Federation user name and password but I don’t know how to creat a user name an password for it.

Can I start a complaint for this? I have a 2011 Nissan Rogue. Is this possibly a recall? I called corporate and they tried to relay the mileage as to whether they would reprogram it or not. I just think its ridiculous because may have little to do with the problem.

Could you have just replaced the intake boot & done the relearns, & forget about the ecu update ? I assume without the update, you would still possibly have the PO101 or maybe not, with the new boot.

Why am I not seeing the option to add that last 5 digits of the ecu?

Same with me--same error--fan was on lowest setting--had to press hard button (On/Off) now everything Grayed out---reflash proceeded ok

NERS is definitely a piece of crap! Two things I have questions about. When programming Nissan the cooling fan runs on high, was yours or was it disconnected? I also noticed you have so many different J applications on the same laptop. I don’t use J that frequently and try to stick to factory software but I wonder if it’s creating a problem.

Quick tip: if you want to save money buying nissan OEM ubscription. Get a Launch Scanner (the one sold in europe) and you will be able to update nissan controller straight out the scanner. Send me a pm
