Actually Nostalgia Critic did a video series called “Old vs New” where he compares and gives points to see which film is superior. He did a video of Batman(Michael Keaton) vs The Dark Knight. So you should check that out.

I know I’m 7 months late answering this question, but if I were to pick a JJJ actor in 2002 aside from Simmons would be Tom Selleck.

35:42 judging from various videos of quotes and references throughout marvel movies dc is fictional in marvel since they referenced both Superman and SHAZAM in this movie, green lantern in Deadpool and Superman (again) in venom also it can be both since in the movie Halloween H20 they watched scream 2 and the characters in the original scream watched the original Halloween so if it works for self aware horror movies why not comic book movies?

Nah, the new Spider-Man movies don't stack up to the Raimi ones, but that's just my opinion. I also enjoyed them way more than the Superman movies. For me, these actually embrace the comic book feeling, but keep it relatively kid friendly, because that's who they wanted to watch the films. The MCU is great of course, but that is much more about adapting the comic book into a movie, but it doesn't really keep the comic book feeling, going straight to a more sci-fi feel than straight comic book. MJ is however my least favorite love interest for Spider-Man It wasn't magnets, but I think they did use some kind of adhesive. As Jameson said himself "If he doesn't want to be famous I'll make him infamous." He doesn't hate Spider-Man, but he can make tons of money selling Newspapers about him Also, the effects aren't shitty, and comparing them to effects that were groundbreaking at the time is not a fair comparison. They were actually pretty good effects at the time. I'm also pretty sure DC is a comic in Marvel comics, but they've also crossed over a few times. Don't think about it too much. He keeps saying stuff like if you don't focus on the details, but rather the passion or whatever, you can enjoy it, but I enjoy it completely, not because it's some masterpiece but because it's fun to watch, which is one of my biggest judgements when watching a film "Am I enjoying it" not "oh, is the story some amazing thing that will change the world"

Angry Video Game Nerd mostly "reviews" games from the 80's and 90's so no Spider-Man PS4 review (a lot of his early reviews are worth checking out if something catches your eye, but don't start with the newer episodes) and his style is very different from this, he is vulgar just for the sake of being vulgar.
