When I had my Archangel Avacyn angel tribal deck(I converted it to a Kaalia of the Vast last night, yes I had some nonangels in there like flumph and sad robot and starnheim aspirant) I ran Secret Rendezvous, yeah it lets an opponent draw 3 cards too but since you're in boros and need card draw desperately it's not a bad pick especially for monowhite, and you can use it for politics to keep them from targeting you

FL isn't really card draw though, it's filtering. It let's you look deeper but doesn't give you more cards in hand. I think that's what he was focusing on with this clip.

Or play permanents. That’s where all of the good white card draw is.

Black: Peer into the Abyss. Life cost wise it's usually a better deal on life per card than the typical black draw spell too. Also Cut your losses, while not quite as strong, can give you sacrifice synergies while also drawing you a bunch of cards

Wheels don't count cause they're "each player draws" - you don't play wheels for the card draw - you play them for combos combined with drawing/discarding cards. And why pay 2, 3, 5, (or 8?! that's insanity) for the same thing you get for free with Jeska's Will? These exile X cards and play them before the end of your turn are only good if you have the ability to then play those cards. Jeska's Will gives you the highest possibility of playing those cards out of any of the "exile 'x' cards from the top of your library" cards - the rest of those cards are hot garbage if they're more than 1 card cause 75% of the time, you're just hoping for a land drop out of it. Anything beyond that, it's a waste most of the time cause you're not going to be able to play it. Even if you have 5-6 mana and cast Reckless Impulse, most of the time, you'll be lucky to play one of those cards; you might be able to play both of them throughout the rest of your current turn and the next - but then your opponent knows what you're playing ahead of time and can plan accordingly. Hardly an effective use of your whole turn imo.

@@morsdraconis read well, friend. They’re all worded like Jeska’s will where it’s until the end of your NEXT turn. The flashback on Ignite the Future even lets you cast them for free, so yeah, paying 8 is well worth it. If you have any way of casting it from the yard outside of its built-in flashback it’s even better. Commune with lava is also an instant. If you think BSZ effects are good this is pretty similar. Also wheels are fine when you have the least cards in hand.
