Because deep breathing activates the parasympathetic nerve responsible for blood pressure, heartbeat and dilate blood vessels. Also because nitric oxide is a vasodilator agent it causes the arteries to expand and thus the blood circulates easily then heart decreases the force with which it pumps blood.

Breathe in through your nose nice and easy for the count of Four then hold the breath for the count of seven then breath out through your NOSE as you humm the sound ommmm through the nose " not the mouth " for the count of eight or more as you are getting better repeat for 33 breath at least Three times . This is the true science and research Blessings to all Pay it forward

Ah, so! This has been taught in the Yoga tradition for over a thousand years. They called it Pranayama, which correctly pronounced is Praa-naa-yaa-ma. Aayaama means to deepen and extend. Praana (usually spelt Prana) means breath or also means life energy. I once tried the method described in this video (called Bhastrika in Yoga) but it made me so dizzy from my blood getting so alkaline, I never did this ever again. And lastly, I *never* breathe out through my mouth. The warm air coming out of the lungs feels so nice while breathing out through the nose. The warm air relaxes the nasal membranes and increases blood circulation in them. Thanks for reading my comment! I'm an MD and have been a Yoga student for over 30 years. Mostly I do gentle but moderately deep belly breathing, but sometimes I'll extend the in-breath into my chest as well. Exhalation is allowed to be natural and not forced. More frequent, deep and forced breath out through the nose is called Kapalabhati in Yoga. Pronounced Ka-paa-la-bhaathi. Great to clean out the sinuses. Kapaala means head, and bhati (bhaathi) means to "shine" but really to cleanse. I make sure no one is within a few feet of me as I do so, and keep a Kleenex around, haha!

1) This looks like hyperventilating, not NO-breathing. 2) Hyperventilating is not particularly healthy; some say it's harmful. 3) Full-exhale is more important than maximizing inhale. 4) Humming through nose (nasal passages) is said to be the most effective mechanism for increasing NO, because nasal passages produce NO2 when vibrated by humming. Lower-pitch hum is better than high-pitch hum. 5) Hum the last 10% of exhale, then breath-in through nose to maximize NO absorption.

heavily exhaling through the mouth is Co2 dumping. That’s where the tingeling comes from. Co2 is also a vasodilator. Dumping Co2 makes you feel tingling of the constriction of the blood vessels. Tinglings around the mouth. Co2 Dump is what you want to do after a heavy workout. Or after long under water swim. Someone who hyperventilates needs to either slowdown exhaling of breathe in a (paper)bag. Nitric oxide always comes with nose breathing and is just a natural thing what people are not aware of. Ok Doc, appreciate your work. Respectfully.. Correct me if I’m wrong, but this is what I’ve learned as a Pranayama Breath Coach. Ciao!🙏🏽☀️

For me to keep my BPMs reasonable when running, I warm up for at least half a mile. I try to max out around 150bpm and interval train down to 120 bpm. That is a very comfortable range for me. june 20 2023 despite the effects of n-o you cite having no value to me ( at this time ) ... viewing your vid did have large bennies with my pre-existing p-a-o-t-b . this practice began over 30 years ago in a beginner yoga class w/ the ujaya breath. and didnt go much of anywhere until about 5 years back. then i was searching for one thing and instead found dr richard brown. here on a u-t vid. looked in to him, bought his book, played its CD and followed along with his lessons for a variety of breathing - methods. and have been on that path ever since. his 4-4-6-2 breath is practiced the most often. sometimes with a stopwatch set for 2 minutes. and until now my bpm rate is in the 4 to 5 range. and subst'g the '5' has resulted in a bpm of 3 to 4. this is new territory. neither fainting nor dizziness nor lite-headed feeling has occurred enough to recall at all nor is it any problem now. breathing this slow doesnt attract any attention ... its quite natural. it took me a month or so at the beginning to slow down from 15 +/- to 6 via the CD lessons with their metronome pacing. and a 4 bpm pace just happened over a span of years. and not by being a target / goal. and via filling my lungs to the max now as you inform us it is found the 1'st 4 is not enuf time. to its evolved into a 5-4-6-2. btw ... paotb is something i practice not just sitting or supine but while on my feet and active. the result is by day's end the ratio of time spent ( lost ) being unconscious to awake / alert has shifted to the right. the exception is on my feet and talking to someone. i'm still light years away from to being able to pull off that one. adieu p-a-o-t-b = practicing awareness of the breath

What you have demonstrated is a yogic breathing exercise. There are many techniques like Kapal Bhati, Bhastrika, and Anulom vilom. Apart from pranayama, there are many postures known as Assan to be performed for a healthy lifestyle.

In yoga, an ancient Indian wellness practice to facilitate a reunification between the mind, body, and soul with the cosmic consciousness, this is a breathing technique referred to as Bhastrika Pranayam.

The tingling is from exhaling too much Carbon Dioxide. Wouldn't it be better to breathe deeply throughout the day and exhale more slowly? I've been breathing from the diaphragm for years.

Breath in,exhale 30 times. At the final exhale do an inhale and hold your breath for 1 to 2 minutes. I'm 78 and have been doing this for a couple of months...and feeling great.

I will use this style of breathing for one week, especially when I have HBP. I have used 5-6-7 breathing in the past to lower pressure. Experimenting with this 5-6-7, I discovered that I could hold my breath deeply for a minute or more, i.e. 6 sec became 60 sec. When I go to Walmart, I spray some peroxide on my mask, below the nose, and then practice controlled breathing to inhale the peroxide into my nasal passage and lungs. A portable nebulizer would be a good product for this, maybe using a rubber bulb to actuate.

What does inhaling the peroxide do?
@MISSIONCAT11
@MISSIONCAT11 Жыл бұрын
@@jbarkley4198 I have read that when a human white blood cell kills a bacteria or disrupts a virus, it envelops the virus and passes some peroxide to the virus, disabling it. So I am copying the white blood cell and putting the peroxide where it will contact airborne virus or bacteria or fungus and either kill or disrupts. I think the peroxide will go in to my nasal passage and attack virus there. I put 35% peroxide on my nose cancer in 2017 and it died within 3 weeks and healed normally. Ref: Dr. Kurt Donsbach, KZfaq. Donsbach switched from chlorine to H202 in his swimming pool in California. His guests who swam in his pool began reporting cures of many things. This launched Donsbach on a career of curing the incurable with H202. Google: Donsbach peroxide H202. He began curing cancer with 35% H202 dripped into a patient's blood vessel. Massive cancers could be cured. Donsbach was run out of the USA to Mexico where he continued to cure cancer for many years. H202 does not affect healthy human cells. Put H202 on healthy skin and nothing happens. Put it on skin cancer and a tower of foam erupts. We are surrounded by oxygen all our lives. The US Navy switched from air decompression to pure oxygen decompression, with startling results. This led to HBOT which today is used in all hospitals and is curing old cases of brain damage and healing diabetics with rotting limbs. (Dr. Hammesphar).

Lightheadedness and tingling fingers occur with hypocarbia and respiratory alkalosis. Contribution from NO production is an unknown. Hyperventilation is a multifactorial process.

Can you make a video about the other gas that other people think is waste? C02? I hear and see that it also can help you recover and make O2 oxidize faster if you hold your breath longer and recover faster after cardio. Very little science about this but the Europeans and Russians were ahead of this when training their athletes.
