It goes without saying. Always be sure you can undertake any exercise routine before commencing any exercise regime. You may need to consult your personal doctor for confirmation of your suitability before starting this exercise routine. Want an in-depth knowledge on Nitric Oxide dump exercise routine and all about Nitric oxide, it's benefits, links to arginine, citrulline supplements, viagra (yes, there's a link) and even dark chocolate? Go here to my blog and read all about it thedrjoe.com/what-is-nitric-oxide-dump/ Very detailed article.

Yes, Valerie, they are more challenging than they appear to be on the surface. Well done, for stepping it up. Don't jump to 20 from 10 though. Please bridge it with 15 reps for about 2 weeks before stepping it up to 20. You'll cope a lot better that way.

Thankyou Dr Joe, your instructions were very clear and easy to understand. Whenever I go to the doctor, which I recently did, my BP is usually elevated, however this was the first time it wasn’t. Even my doctor was surprised. The only change I’ve made to my lifestyle is to include these exercises. I’m 66 with a bad knee and find these exercises easy enough to do whilst giving me a good workout… and I don’t end up dripping with perspiration which is a bonus! “THANK YOU” again.🙂🇦🇺

I have now been doing this exercise for few weeks and feel that I have to give you my opinion. When I originally saw your demo on KZfaq, I Said to myself that this is going to be a walk in the park, peace of cake. It's far from that. In fact I had to tone it down a bit. I started of doing 20 times each 4 exercises with 3 reps, three times a day. After day two, my muscles started complaining and I just couldn't carry on. So, after recovering (about a week) I started again, but this time doing the exercises just 5 times with 3 reps and 3 times a day. After each week, I increased it by one. Now I am doing 10 times each exercises with 3 reps and 3 times a week. Very soon, I feel that the time will come when my muscles will start complaining again. This is great going for a (soon to be) 68 year old. Just felt like sharing my journey with you
@drjoetvMD
@drjoetvMD 5 жыл бұрын
Thank you Suresh for your feedback. I can see you're doing your best to keep up with the routine. I know most people initially see me do the exercises in the video and they also reach that conclusion that it's going to be a 'piece of cake', until they start it and that's when the penny drops. They suddenly realize how challenging it can be. That's one beauty of it. Challenge yourself in 4 minutes and you're done. The secret to getting rid of the muscle soreness is consistency. If you stop for even a week and start again, then it will be like you're starting all over again. You'll become sore all over again. But if you persist, the soreness will disappear within 7 days and it will never hunt you again. Unless you stop for a week of course. The point I am making is; the key to avoiding the soreness is to do it everyday and not stop for more than a day or two. But like I always say as far as the reps are concerned, start small and build up even if it takes you weeks to get there. No rush.

@@drjoetvMD No reason to ever stop other than being sick. No equipment required, not much space needed, 3-4 minutes a session x 3 sessions a day...anytime, any where. This routine makes it hard to have an excuse not to do it. Plus its a great systemic, compound exercise with great health and fitness benefits! It’s my main workout now...the one I’ll always do no matter what else I might do, the core of my workout. Thank you Dr Joe for introducing this excellent routine to me! Yours in good health!

I’m 65 and my BP has always been on the low side of normal until seven months ago. I discovered a potassium deficiency and increasing my potassium intake resolved some of the issues I had been experiencing but had minimal effect on my BP. I discovered your earlier video a few days ago and started the exercises. Until it becomes a habit, I’ve scheduled alerts at 7:00 AM, noon, and 5:00 PM to remind me. I’m starting at five reps and my muscles are burning after the first set but I feel better after completing the third set. It’s only been three days but I do find it getting slightly easier and hope to increase to ten reps soon. I have noticed a decrease in my BP measurement that I take each morning. That is additional motivation to keep up with these exercises.

I've been doing these daily for 11 months now and things are pretty stable now. No symptoms and BP is 125-80 or thereabouts. Vivek, I have an advanced nitric oxide exercise routine that's good for diabetics. I shall publish that in the weeks to come. But in the meatime, you can do this very exercise routine. It still helps with blood sugar control especially if you do it 3 times a day

Yes, please do, Sase 1974. I know that the midday one can be a problem as we are at work and might not find the time, a suitable time, that is. But don't sweat it. If you can't accommodate the midday one, you can still get by with twice a day approach. And welcome aboard

Dr Joe, thanks for this video and the earlier one. Have been doing the routines for the last 6 weeks or so (20 reps of each routine, 3 sets, thrice daily). My question is - is the order of the routines important? Does it have to be 1. Squat 2. Circular arm rotation 3. Static march 4. Shoulder press. Or, can it be in any order? Thanks.
@drjoetvMD

Dr. Joe, I have changed my diet to a more plant based, low fat, high carb and eliminating meat in an effort to reduce my BP and get off of the two meds I'm taking. I also exercise 6 days a week for 30 minutes and will add your Nitric Dump to my routine. I first read and saw this on Dr. Mercola's website. Thank you for these exercises and the Herbal Teas. Also, do you have any recommendations for frequent urination? I can't seem to pass a rest room without a pee break and I'm up two or three times a night which interferes with my sleep. Thanks for your support.

@drjoetvMD
@drjoetvMD 5 жыл бұрын
Alison, if you want to monitor your heart rate during the routine, you can by wearing a relevant device. However, I guarantee you will get your heart rate well up there, if you do it correctly. That's where, the concept of the speed comes in. If you do it fast, then you don't need to worry about reaching the required heart rate for an effective exercise routine. As for joint problems, I shall publish that video later this week. Don't you worry.

Dear Dr Joe, thank you for nitric oxide exercise. I started incorporating it into my daily exercise and I noticed a tremendous decrease in my blood pressure. My worry is that when ever I do the exercises I experience terrible throbbing headache, is there anything I am doing wrong. I would appreciate your answer as I would like to continue doing it.
@drjoetvMD
@drjoetvMD 4 жыл бұрын
I don't think you are doing anything wrong. I suspect the headache is due to the temporary rise in your BP during the exercise. Because your BP will rise in the first place during the exercise. That's normal BP response to exercise. You may want to see your doctor to exclude any other problem.

Dear Dr Joe, I am Vaidhya from New Delhi, India. Your workout video has been very helpful to me. I have started practicing this alongwith my daily jogging in the morning. I have been regularly jogging around 3 miles everyday in the morning. Just had few queries as stated below. 1) Can I do jogging everyday as usual and then end with nitric oxide dump workout? or will it be too much for the body. 2) Is it that jogging would have already released NO in the body and that the nitric oxide dump workout post jogging will not have anything left out with to release NO in the body. 3) While the morning workout is by default on empty stomach, is it good to do NO dump workout in the afternoon and evening pre / post meals and the minimum time gap required before / after meals. 4) Is it important to let your body cool down post NO dump workout and if yes, how much time we would need to lie down / relax? I sincerely look forward to your reply. Regards V Vaidhyanathan
