After a while it becomes the easiest turn. Try this, start drifting instead of jumping whenever you're entering the tunnel and go into the turn while drifting so you'll be facing almost completely to the right, then you simply need one jump to make it.

I know you can make sharp turns in the air by holding square instead of x, but I can't make the kinds of turns like THAT. Any time I try, I lose my fire and get stopped on the ground.

Whilst in the air TAP square and hold the analog stick/ dpad down left or down right. Its imperative that you tap instead of holding square or you'll lose your reserves. Also, dont tap square near the ground, unless youre comfortable with the timing as you might press square as your karts on the floor, causing you to break and lose your reserves.

This took me 2 evenings after work so probably grinded about 6 to 8 hours i'd say

Tapio is just a beast I was going for WR last night when he didn't have a 2.59 sub then he gets it today lol

You can perform a thing called u-turning. You basically leave the acceleration button and press brake (Y on the switch, X on the xbox, i dont remember which one it is on the ps controller sorry), down on the d-pad/reverse and the button on the d-pad depending on which direction you are u-turning at the same time and you will perform a u-turn, its very sharp and its practically impossible to keep blue flame or perform the shortcut on this track without doing those turns. Air braking is basically the same but you hop and perform a u-turn in the air. You can do it with the analog stick as well but for me its much harder. Hope I helped and sorry if you already knew this so i just wasted your time.

Stacking reserves there's probably a bunch of boosts I don't even need here to still keep it but not sure yet needs experimenting

happens to me too with the disconnecting, you know 2.57 is wr right lmao i'd be surprised if you actually got that because its a perfection run

When you landed ur power boost lets say to the right, then u just switch ur analog stick to the left instantly then u almost drive straight :)

U can drive over the edge just after you cross the finish line, and then u skip a whole lap. Do that a few times and you got a almost unbeatable time, i hope they patch their times bc it is some cheap ass shit

This is a good level for it as it has the 180 turns, just keep at it and once you get it down see if you can implement it elsewhere

You let go of accelerate in the air hold brakes then turn to left or right let go of brakes and hold accelerate again

The speed class throws you back when you let go of the slide after a boost. OP never hit the wall.
