This buggy is a great beginner for someone that never had a nitro powered vehicle. I personalty like the would go with the brushless version because it doesn't require any tuning and it's ready to go out of the box.

@crazzzzzzzzycracker Nitro fuel is rated with different percentages indicating the amount of nitro content in the fuel. The fuel usually consists of nitromethane, methanol, synthetic oil, and other additives depending on the brand and manufcaturer of the fuel.

Whenever you adjust the high speed needle you need to adjust the low speed and idle screw for the car.

Yes you can but you cannot use the settings that Bobby mentioned in this video. You have to adjust the tune to the fuel that your using.

For our .28 engine the factory setting is low speed needle clockwsie till stop, back out counter clockwise 3.5-4 turns, high speed needle clockwise till stop, back out counter clockwise 2.5

If you turn on the receiver first there is a chance that the receiver will get some stray signal from something else and cause the RC to take off. Also when you turn off the RC always turn off the RC first before the transmitter.

I have the Exceed Rc Nitro Forza 2-Speed. And Traxxas 33% Nitro Fuel, works just fine.

@MrCman182 Most hobby stores sell nitro fuel. The most common is 20% which costs appox. $40 a gallon depending on where you are and what brands are available. No mixing required. A gallon will usually last me about a month and a half going out every weekend and the odd day after work in my Savage X 4.6

Exactly what nitrorcx said. Its especially important for nitro models because they can easily get out of control. Believe me, if you are new to the whole thing there really isn't a feeling quite like seeing your beloved model careening off into the sunset out of control. You might also want to invest in a throttle return spring and a fail safe if the radio doesn't have one built in.

Reason I asked is because our settings might not be the same for other manufacture settings.

You change it accordingly to the tune that your setting on the car.

@JAYvsWILD Turn it in 1 hour increments to fine tune the engine.

i follow to tune the engine sine it still to idle to turn it off i pinch the fuel line cant get it to turn back on after that. can you help me on what to try next

Yes you can use 30% nitro fuel with this engine, but if you use the settings that we have shown in the video it'' over heat the motor. Tune it accordingly go the 30% fuel.

This is a nitro vehicle and it doesn't require a battery to power the motor, there is a battery cage inside the radio box to power the servos and receiver.

How hot does the engine get?

I libed that buggy. No problem with axles, bearing. At all.. I had problems with brand cars breaking shafts and bearing breking..

@kiirem11 We recommend using 20% nitro fuel but 25% will work in our motors. Just remember to be more careful when tuning.

@sonic2000ish If you didn't get nitro fuel specifically made for nitro car engine (because there is also airplane nitro which is different blend of nitro and oil), the best thing is to return it if it's not opened yet. 20% nitro content is best for car engine. People that race also use up to 30% nitro.

thats a Redcat Tornado S30 isn't it?!!! i had one, i enjoyed the 2 speed tranny :) but had problems with the dogbones flying out so just make sure u add some orings to the endpoint of the dogbones to give them more of a snug fit....pretty fast car

can someoone pleas help me. I got a st1 thunder tugger truggy (not original engine) ive done everything i should for the engine with the breaking in the engine. I used to glow plugs yesterday and 4 tanks of fuel and i couldnt get the car running. the carb is 1mm open. i just cant get it. my stearing is fine. my acceleration and braking is fine. I dont no how to tune it. The engine is an SH engines M28-p3

i went through 5 tanks 1 through 4 i didnt make high speed passes but the 5th one i did high speed passes for 5 seconds each should that be good for the engine

@MilkyWarhammer40k just get on average a 20% nitro mix, 30 if you want more performance, but 20% should be fine

The opening of the carburetor might be to small and isn't providing enough air for it to idle.

When I move my throttle on the remote then stop it makes a crunching noise is that normal or bad because the car is brand new

I drove mine for the first time today, really easy to start but did a couple cart wheels and front shock towers already bent, body wont fit right, and I didn't even jump it. I used to jump my offna buggy and Duratrax truggy pretty high and never bent a shock tower.

The factory settings for the engine is 3 1/2 turns - high needle, and 1 1/2 turns - low speed

Can you do a how to of the removing and replacing the dog bones on the newer model Forza's?

I'm only familiar with Traxxas's engines and they recommend 5 tanks during break-ins...gradually building up the speed and temperature of the engine. From other break in methods ive read about, they also advise 3-5 tanks. Two tanks isn't enough I don't think. "Flush low speed needle means the head of the screw is even with the material around it. If you can slide your screwdricer across the head of the lsn screw, then it is flush". -from forum post.

please answer back my nitro truck is an Exceed Infinity i cant tune it it keeps dying out and it overheats in 2 minutes of going around in circles trying to tune it. it was okay when it was new then i hadnt play with it for more than four months, when i tried to start but it wont start so i cleaned the engine and it started but it keeps dying out i cant find the right place its about 6-8 turns in the needle but i cant seem to find the right place

@anmesiaa the engine should be built to wear it won't over heat but i would suggest no more than 2 tanks at a time.
