Awesome video. Does sound a little different to me. Those shorties have to be offering at least a little improvement over those awful log manifolds. A useful tech tip for those unfamiliar: disconnect the battery before startup when making big changes to intake or exhaust. The ECU may not be able to compensate for the changes right away. Disconnecting the battery will start a new drive cycle and re-learn.

Disconnecting the battery also eliminates the risk of welding a wrench to the starter when tightening the downpipe bolts 🤫🫢😂

Didn't sounds any difference to me... But I keep reading and being told Shorty headers don't give no gains to even notice.....

Long tubes are certainly the better option when it comes to headers. And of course we didn't dyno the truck but I find it hard to believe the shorty headers don't atleast flow better than the stock manifolds. Maybe at the stock power level or near stock power level the OEM manifolds are not a restriction, But they certainly must become a restriction when you start to increase power with boost, nitrous or a cam. And I bet you at that point the shorty headers would show a gain in horsepower over the stock manifolds.
