Done this a few time on the 690B on the road. Always carry an extra set!

Yeah, guess it wouldn't hurt to have an extra set but didn't think they'd break if you replace them each year.

Where do you get your bungee cords from? I'll be doing this soon.

happysawfish i believe i got them from spruce but you can good and find them pretty easy

The bungees actually hold the gear over center and keep it from folding up during landing. So they are pretty important. :-)
