There are no banana trees in Norway neither! How do you explain that to Mai when you're at home? I'm sorry but sustainability should be more than featuring on social media. Don't get me wrong, I don't blame you for buying bananas in Norway, but travelling thousands of kilometres with the carbon footprint it implies and pretending it to be an opportunity to explain future generations that bananas don't grow in the Himalayas seems contradictory to me.
