We head upriver by sail as far as we can stop for some lunch and then try to sail back down as far as we can without the engine, just as the old trading ships used to do. Some history around Baltic Wharf, Mill Fleet Quay and the Kingswear Castle paddle steamer .Some of the most picturesque river scenery in the country.

yes, that was us in the Cape Cutter - still trying to work out how to sail it properly. We couldn't get anywhere near your angle to wind. And we had problems going about too... I think we will copy you and go for the reef next time. Still, boat looks great in the video (yours too), thanks for including us!

You did look a bit overpowered sail wise, but very speedy. We should do a "cruise in company" some time, even if its just to get pictures of our own boats :).

@@MorningvicarI am tempted just to use the motor without sail to get under the road bridge at Totnes I think it's then clear for another mile. Will let you know!
