Im 4'11 too. I use memory foam on crib mattress frame, and put it on top of milk crates, so I have storage underneath. If they have hookups I bring a tiny space heater or electric blanket and put hand warmers in my socks and layer clothing. Keep the head and feet warm. Great job! I love to see newbies getting out and trying this. I just LOVE it! (and get some funky flames, so fun for the fire;)

I love it I live in my van 3 row seat . Hide away .I got at d. Tree in school supplies cardboard that kids draw on . Put on floor . I got 5 pics. Cut to fit . Extra I put up on walls . Then a rug on top. Toilet I put down puppy pads first. Can use for your water.

We completely remove our stow and go seats so we have the extra storage space. We call it our basement 😅. My husband and I camp this way most of the summer. He built us a bed in two pieces so he can just use half if I don't feel like going. Then he has more space..

We didn't know about van life in my younger yrs and I know for an absolute fact that we/she would have wanted to do it with our dogs... So I'm preparing myself to go at it alone with my 2 furbabies. I have a 2007 Chrysler Town & Country and am also 4'11", 101 lbs. I'm planning to sleep on the back seat because I'm 76 and have no way to remove the seats. It's going to be hard enough to get the 2 pieces of furniture in there, but I'll figure something out. I might try a wheelchair ramp. Just thought of that.
