Woodcraft Wednesday!
Here I'm showing a jig for drilling a 45° angle without a drill press. I'm making an organization system and mounting my makeup brushes to the wall!

You have been lucky with your saw not to jam the blade and get a dangerous kickback. Never push the wood during the cut to pinch the blade with a push stick like that. Keep the wood against the fence instead.

It's good to see more ladies doing woodwork, etc. Word of advice, always wear a hair net, especially when you have long hair when operating power tools. Otherwise keep up the great work.

Thank you for the supportive feedback and kind words! I normally tie my hair in a ponytail but you're absolutely right, from now on I'll be keeping it in a bun or hairnet while working with tools! Thank you!

Nice creative project. However your technique cutting the 45 degree on your chop saw was dangerous!

It would be safer to hold the piece flat against the fence; with a clamp or push stick. If I were to make that cut I would do it on my table saw.
