another great video, i like your shop, its amazing the projects that can be made without the need of a big fancy expensive shop. i draw all of my plans by hand like you, the only way to do them. my shop is small, my work space is in the driveway. please keep making videos.

Thank you for the encouragement Joe! I've been feeling a bit discouraged because two weeks ago, my views and watch hours dropped off to next to nothing and haven't recovered. I can't see a reason for the change, and it has me questioning if I'm good enough to make it anywhere on youtube.

i do enjoy your presentation of the videos however i do want you to be Successful. your comment back to me made me think and i rewatched your video several times. i then watched a few of my other favorite woodworkers. my 2 cents worth , Content is important, as well as connecting with the creator as a person. more about you and your passion for building a specific project. keep up the channel it will grow.

Nice work! Thanks for your tips in the video for dummy's like me utilizing DIY 😂 Sanding makes a huge difference. Does it also make it smoother to paint over? Giving it a better finish!

I'm sure you've done some cool projects yourself! You're right! It does make it easier to paint! Although sanding too fine can make it more difficult for stain to soak in!

Ahh the days when I had effects pedals, my Jackson flying V and Les Paul and Laney Half stack, instead of a small practice amp with onboard effects and a crappy guitar. LOL Those were the days, Nice Build! If you wanted, you could've used "Finish Washers" with the exposed screws to hid the wood-screw contact point and emphasize the screw-industrial look. They are really inexpensive for a lot of them.
@mishadoesthethingАй бұрын
Fantastic! Great to hear you're an enthusiastic as well! Although ypur setup has been downgraded you will always have the skills and experience that you earned and that's often the most valuable thing of all. I'm definitely going to chalet out finish washers!! Thanks for the tip!

Really good video, many thanks. If you could slow the footage down a little we would be able to say the method of burning the lettering just a little better. I slowed it down to half speed on my mac.

Wow! This feedback is super helpful! Thank you very much, I appreciate that you took the time to comment and show me how I can improve. My next video is already in the works, but after that one goes up, I can definitely do a more detailed burning video. Thanks again!
@guydwelly2 ай бұрын
I don’t want you to think my comments were derogatory as you have spent a lot of time to produce this post. Your tutorial is one of the best for this subject but my search was for information for advice on the nib type and your lovely instruction was the best but I needed to see the best nib application and rotation technique which was speeded up. Many thanks Guy in the UK
@mishadoesthething2 ай бұрын
@guydwelly Hi Guy! I didn't find it offensive at all, I am still pretty new to creating videos, and I really appreciate the feedback. I create my videos in the hope that they will help someone, so hearing how I can do that is definitely a positive thing, and you were actually really nice about it! The reason I speed up my videos is because I thought showing the whole process at full speed would be too boring and that nobody would want to spend the time to watch them. Seeing your comment has made me reconsider. It could be that I need more confidence in myself and that thinking that nobody would watch my videos if they aren't sped up is related to that.

Hi Misha, I've been scrolling through KZfaq trying to find role models for my two daughters. I am a carpenter by trade and a weekend woodworker who has been fortunate enough to make some sales. I am new to your channel and I have to thank you for your professional approach to your videos. There are so many women woodworkers out there with overly explicit thumbnails selling themselves instead of their skills. You are definitely a positive role model for young, female woodworkers and a fine edition to the woodworking/crafting community. Both my daughters play instruments also and the fact you also share your music is absolutely awesome. I am glad I found your channel and keep making!
