Engaging with books has significantly elevated my perspective on investing. True wealth isn't built through mere savings; financial freedom stems from strategic investments. I've learned that accumulating wealth hinges on making prudent investment decisions||

This is financial advice and I never give financial advice: DONT LEAVE DURING THE BEAR. If you don’t want to invest…learn. If you don’t want to learn…build. If you don’t want to build observe. DO SOMETHING…other than leave. There is so much opportunity here. Take advantage!

"Procastination is not a thief of time but a thief life" Indeed... I have so many failed plans in 2023 due to procastination and lack of self discipline. Procastination is an anxiety syndrome according to a new study. It's very crazy because I tend to make things perfect. This book is a blessing from God in heaven. This book not only teaches self discipline but it also help you how to be successful in life. Only if everyone knows this book and apply what it said, I can assure that everyone is successful and we more have a better world today. Less crimes, less poverty, less problems...

Hello, I never usually leave comments, but I wanted the author and publisher to know that I think this book may be the most informative, complete and direct literature that I have come across. I am going to see if the author has other works or maybe old seminars to watch. I also enjoy the tone and patience of the reader (who is also the author, which is great). Thank you. I will probably buy the actual book for my personal library. If the author reads this, please get back to me as I would enjoy buying direct and maybe have it signed. Thanks.

What helped me a ton is mindfulness meditation, separating from thoughts and not taking them too seriously. The mind cannot force itself into action, it'll end up consuming itself with endless thought. The workbook called 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels is awesome, as is the Tao Te Ching.

I've gained numerous insights from this book, but one particularly striking lesson stands out of me and hit one of my attitude towards working: 'Birds of a feather flock together.' This rings true-by surrounding ourselves with individuals who mirror the qualities we wish to embody, we elevate not just ourselves but each other. Together, we shape our futures, influenced by the circles we choose to be part of. This message, among others derived from it, continues to unfold and resonate with me.

1:13:00 i love that he acknowledges that it's normal to be conditioned in childhood that we don't have agency in our lives. Many people blame the person who feels disempowered, rather than the natural state of being a child. Some parents never instill a sense of independence in their kids. They would rather retain control and superiority in the home. Some of us really do need the "obvious" stated: that at a certain point in development, it is our responsibility to seize the agency in our lives. If we stop blaming individuals for being blind to that fact and instead kindly wake them up to reality, i wonder how much they'd flourish.

I both love and hate this book. He's so right on the self discipline part (something I really need to cultivate and the main reason why I can't get shit done...), but also it feels so aimed at the authors' (and many other people's) idea of success. (Although sometimes he also mentions to find what success/happiness means for YOU... (but do you really know?)) I don't care if someone sold over a million in cars or is the leading whatever of their field. More products. More things. More growth. Always more. More. More. I am fed up with that. All fame and glory, all esteemed positions in a career or whatever, it's not more special than anything and it just feeds the ego. What we need is not more people who want more, who view themselves as superior, but more love and connection and more community. Less commercialisation. Less self enrichment and more sharing. What I want, what my ideal idea of success is... USED to be to become famous and special. To be recognized and leave a mark. But not anymore (many would call me unambitious now maybe). I just want to live a cozy, silly, adventurous life where no one tells me what I can and cannot do. I want to have a cozy tiny house in nature, or a van, or both... Create art, plant a garden, do tattoos and travel around selling art and homemade, simple but good, food. Connecting people with each other, instead of against each other. I don't want the highest net worth. I would live without money if that was possible. Your worth is not determined by how much you earn or how famous you are. If I would somehow ever be famous, I'd laugh at it. We're all lost souls swimming in the same fish bowl.

I agree. This book is a reflection of its time, aimed to people who wanted to "make it" on corporate America in the late 90's. Not a lot for the entrepreneur, free lancer or self employed here. Still has some great insights, just not all of it applys to a lot of us right now.

One additional note regarding an insight I had while listening to the book. I actually listened to the whole thing, because it truly fascinated me! I have a sneaky suspicion that The Devil refers to Hell as “The Organization”

I read 'the Millionaire Next Door" as well and it's an excellent book. I can say that it is true that most millionaires and billionaires are first generation.... However, it's also true that the richest (billion and trillionaires - .0001%) are generational wealthy. Like the Rothschild's and Rockefellers! And aTHEY own monopoly size estates (like the Federal Reserve). That being said though, I LOVE this book and am immediately applying it to my current situation, so thank you for this!

I feel John Isaac's book Procrastination Elimination Method is a much better book and goes straight to the point - Brian Tracy and other gooroos books tend to ramble the main point in a 200 pages book which could easily be summarized in 10 pages!
