I am a former soloist with the New York City Ballet and Miami City Ballet. When I was a young student, I was always looking for insights into the ballet world and how to improve my dancing as well as beauty and lifestyle tips. Now that I am a professional, it is my turn to share.

I love your no intros barre class, Christopher. The creative barre works every part of the body and is strengthening too. It’s great to get a nice workout in 35 -40 minutes.

I think i overestimated my abilities when i clicked on this haha, oh well i gave it a good go, and i found that i could do some of the trickier bits on a x0.5 speed, so perhaps I'll work up to full speed! Excellent class though thank you xx

I had been doing ballet for 6 years when I was 12 I earned my first pair of point shoes, but I gave up right after. Now I'm 16 and I regret so much quitting, I completely feel in love with ballet again and I am using quarentine to get back my wasted time. I think it would be really hard, but not impossible, because when I did ballet classes I only had 1 hour class per week and didn't did shit during the other days, I just thought that 1h would be enough to be a professional and then I got depressed because I wasn't evolving and stopped. Any advice? I need all the help in the world

Take online classes! Tons of places are doing Zoom classes and if you don't want to do one live, you can do KZfaq ones! Also kinda weird, but try and do "ballet homework" and look at different technique videos where the anatomy is broken down by expert teachers. That way you can work smarter instead of harder
