9 ай бұрынSuper super rough animatic!! I couldn't get this idea out of my head, so I sat down one night and just went for it lol. I love this song and was having trouble working on any of my serious projects, so this was a nice little few-hour break. Hope you enjoy!

@@Quinton_ovo_I believe so because in the SVSSS Wiki it is stated that he does have 2 older brothers and 1 younger sister, it was also implied that he was the third son of a very wealthy family and that he was described as “ a dispirited pretty boy sitting around waiting to die” Sorry if this was a long reply, I love sharing info about Shen Yuan before he transmigrated

help that hurts, when i read the novel i was also jus thinkin "what about his brothers or his family back in hiw own world?", and sometimes u jus think about it and its like, hmmmmm, god, very well madey and the song is so fitting and aaaa love how u showed each death of his brothers (thankfully avoided) and at the end his own family happy and well but never to be seen and heard from again for shen yuan, very well done makes u reflect on the novel

I just want you to know that this was the animatic that got me into SVSSS. I watched it about 6mos ago randomly and then decided to find the book. I am now a dedicated danmei fan and have spent about 50 dollars on fucking bingqiu merchandise. Now I'm back here, drunk off my ass and now that I have context, to tell you you've broken my heart and ruined my savings account.

Ahh, thank you so much!! Honestly, I just don't see it working as well with the full version, although I have given it some thought--if I do end up making an animatic of the full version, it will probably for Merlin, not SVSSS (lines up better). We'll see, though!

@@takingasterix Haha, I was just thinking about this the other day and I feel like the full version actually fits better for LBH than SQQ. Specifically the lines, "I see your palace covered in red / Faces of men who had long believed you're dead / I see your wife with a man who is haunting / A man with a trail of bodies" and then Odysseus' enraged "Who?!" right after... not realizing that it's referring to him, after he's changed and become a much more brutal and ruthless person. I can totally imagine young LBH being told "Your Shizun will marry a murderous demon emperor in the future" and LBH being HORRIFIED.

Hmm is this mean this maybe an au where shen yuan is shen jiu who reincarnated in pidw and after getting a hell life finally back at his original world but don't remember anything about pidw and just like to read them and slander himself then they send him again but in time he shen qingqiu and with system to bind him if he make the original plot change to far(although it already do)

That's such a cool concept, actually, and feel free to interpret it like that!! This is more supposed to be Madam Meiyin alluding to the fact that all of the PIDW deaths and events occured in another world (the original), but that fate no longer belongs to any of the characters in SVSSS. Also, she is referencing Shen Qingqiu as no longer Shen Yuan, and that he lost his previous life when he transmigrated to SVSSS.

I know some will hate me for saying this and also because it doesn't make much sense in a video like this but I... I can't like this character shen yuan, I can't, I even tried my best but it's impossible I hate him, but I have my most sincere respect for anyone who likes it, i'm so sorry:)

Honestly I totally get where you're coming from!! I'll never look down on someone for disliking a character I like, because I know there's definitely characters I hate that are others' favorites as well, and as long as everyone's respectful it doesn't really matter :D. personally, I like that Shen Yuan has a lot of genuinely straight up negative qualities--characters like Wei Wuxian or Xie Lian are flawed, but their motivations are usually noble or selfless regardless. Shen Yuan is a pretty inherently selfish person (which is kinda the whole point of the novel I guess), he doesn't have a tragic backstory, and he's just kind of a random, unpleasant guy (at least at the start). I really like that the story is still interesting regardless, and I think it makes the character development more unique--although, to be honest, I haven't read the actual books in two years 😅 so I don't really remember his canon characterization. my opinions of the SVSSS characters are likely very biased due to how fans have interpreted, written, and improved them... sorry for the speech, omg! thanks for your comment!
