Power Star is an animated web series created by Daniel Sun on Newgrounds between 2005 and 2008. The series took loose inspiration from story of the Mishima power struggle from Tekken, focusing on the battle between two brothers with one corrupted by a demonic force. It is well known for it's extremely violent fight choreography and Stickfigure inspired combat sequences.The story takes place in an alternate reality of the Mushroom Kingdom where a hivemind of evil spirits (known as the Boos) possess and take the body of Mario in order to enact their ultimate goal of using the Power Stars to wipe out all living beings in the universe. The tetralogy of episodes follows the struggle over the Power Stars between Luigi and his now enslaved brother, whom he must save before the Boos can fulfill their goal.
Devil Mario is the main antagonist of the Power Star Flash series, in which he is possessed by Boos, leading him to become hungry for power, stopping at nothing to get the Power Stars, even if it means taking a bunch of lives along the way.
Turbo Mecha Sonic (originally known as Metal Sonic and informally known as Mecha Sonic) is a robot created by Dr. Eggman for the sole purpose of destroying Sonic the Hedgehog - however, he rebels against his creator and begins searching for the Chaos Emeralds. He served as the primary antagonist for the first saga of Super Mario Bros. Z.
Turbo Mecha Sonic was reimagined with Metallix in the 2015 remake of Super Mario Bros. Z, as Alvin-Earthworm considered his 2006 series design to be underwhelming and inconsistent with his original portrayal in Sonic & Knuckles.
