The sentiment is great. I think the point is where is an ad campaign for single fathers on Mother’s Day? Single moms should def be wished on Father’s Day, but this can be done without a propaganda that men are less valued, less humans, super trash, only rapists and must never be celebrated. This only ads to the oppression. It’s tone deaf too. It’s like an ad saying “men get raped too” on women’s day. Great sentiment, terrible timing. Why? Because nominally it’s the women who get sexually assaulted more. It’s fucking tone deaf to talk about men issues on one day reserved totally for them.

The ad is clearly implying not to celebrate fathers on fathers day or men are irrelevant somehow. Both ad and main commenter trying to create an impression that it's dad's fault for their current state and ditching their memories or replacing the roles is the solution. It’s not up for debate. We have 2 holidays to celebrate both roles. No mother is a father period. She may be a role model, hero and a great mother but she wasn’t nor ever will be a father. The ad is very disrespectful for all the fathers (specialy single fathers ) who are handling their responsibilities as father with full dedication. The notion that single mothers be given Father’s Day is to say “Men are useless and do not deserve a day that honors them as the other half of the biological equation necessary to human life.” It’s spitting in the face of men as a whole, removing them further and further from any love or respect in any aspect of society. I'm pretty sure this ad is coming straight out of feminist propaganda factory.
