It will slow down to a crawl, even if it did go over his tail. the wheels with first run over the tail before the blades cut it. and the dog has time to jump up out of the way. worst case scenario, it could cut the tail, but it couldnt cut it off. wouldnt have the power. Plus the blades are inside a metal frame that would also push the tail down and way from the blades.

There is a lot of motors in this thing. Each wheel is a whole brushless motor.

@@deandohertygreaser Yeah, no way. And only some of the fresh ones have steep slopes. This thing could easily climb on top of 80% of them with this 4-wheel drive.

Honestly the range of this mower is huge, the end of the park was over 100mtr away from the rtk antena, which i had mounted behind a metal roof shed and under a tree, and this wasn't even pushing it. In a clear area with no obstructions the range can be up to 5km. But my location wouldn't get the 5km range id say up to 1km for myself.

@deandohertygreaser that's very impressive alright. Iv ordered the 3000 for my own place. Planning to put the rtk and base round the back of the house. Iv about 1000sqm to cut but was worried the rtk might be weak being at the back of the property.

@@deandohertygreaser I own and use a clapped out flymow. It has an integral basket to collect the grass cuttings. It is loud, vibrates and is a bit of a bugger to handle. Yet despite this I use it. It cuts the grass. When the bucket is full, I take it out and empty it. It is a drag, but cutting the rough expanse of green that I hesitate to call a lawn, it works. I really don't need wireless connectivity to tell me were to aim the bloody thing. Gosh its hard work, especially if the grass is wet, but, y'know we manage. Afterwards I always need to use the cheepo Titan Strimmer to tidy up the edges. I don't need an app to do this either. When using the Luba, how much grass did the device collect? Or did you have to rake it up after? Did the robotic mower cut close to the edge of the lawn to alleviate the need for strimming? Did you really need an app controlled "intelligent" mower to cut what looks like a very symetrical and already close cut lawn? I thought in Ireland it rains a lot and the grass grows super quick. Here in the Pennines my so called lawn needs battering into submission. This devices looks like a toy, and will probably last as long as one. Sorry, I love your content,love to watch you repair real tools. This was not a real tool and why you were extolling its virtues prompted my comment.

I have one of these, albeit the 1000 model with a smaller battery. It's great - exactly what I need for my 400m2 lawn which is split into 4 sections on different levels. I set a schedule for Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and my lawn stays mowed. The mower goes in straight lines then +45 decrees and -45 degrees on subsequent days so I get lines in different directions and evenly cut grass. The mower saves my back and allows me to do the rest of the gardening or just enjoy myself. Sure it's not cheap but I'm over the fancy cars and getting leathered on a night out at vast cost. I would recommend.

@@charleswheatcroft What happens to the cut grass? Does it take it over to the compost bin and empty it in. If it stores the cuttings, where and what is the capacity? Is your lawn on level ground, or like mine something resembling the Somme circa 1916? Or are all of you MaMMotion RME's? (Robot Mower Evangalists) We've all seen the crediability of other sorts of Evangalists take a bit of a dip recently......

​@@stefanbadass5357the clippings stay on the lawn like with all other robot mowers. My lawn is bumpy enough that a rotary mower can cope but not a cylinder mower. I don't recall seeing robot lawnmowers in archive footage of the Somme so i suggest you avoid robot mowers or invest in some levelling sand and a lawn lute.
