Why would the be referee to "Talk moves"? Shouldn't they be referred to as " Carlson moves" as he's not only the highest rated player ever, but has been #1 in ranking for like a decade(or longer?) (I truly do not know, I am a VERY casual cheese hobbyist, and mainly just watch this channel for all my chess news, and knowledge, so I only know the extremely bare minimum compared to 99% of other commentators on here!)🤗😊😎

I used to play the Najdorf in the 70s and 80s and the Bc4 move was known as Fischer's back then. Magnus' handling of it was different though and he made it look very easy (but then he does that). Think I read somewhere that it is (or at least once was) the most analysed opening (probably before engines). Great fun to play, on either side.

After 6...e6 Fischer always played Bb3 to avoid The BN capturing on e4 and after Nxe4 Black has d5, forking. No reason why Vincent could not play 7...Nxe4 here. 8Nxe4 d5 9Bg5 Be7 and white has nothing.

Im not sure which Norwegian told you the "sh" pronunciation was wrong, as it definitely depends on where in Norway you are. Sure, the word "spill" on its own is always without "sh" sound, but when put together like in "offerspill" it's not uncommon (in fact I would say it's more common, certainly for people in eastern Norway (where most of the population is)) that the pronunciation becomes "offershpill" as that is less awkward to say and rolls off the tongue easier (even for a Norwegian :p ). Then if you go to western Norway (Bergen etc), they pronounce the "R" differently (closer to the French way of saying it, ie at the back of the throat) so it's more natural to say "offerspill" without the "sh" sound there. So it depends on where in Norway you are, and saying it with a "sh" sound is definitely not incorrect at least

6:55 - "objectively it is a lost game" for black. How come? Black got 3 pieces for the queen, black threatens to pick up c3 pawn, black got nothing hanging, black can develop a knight to D7 kinda with tempo - attacking that nice dark square bishop on b6 - and later on black can bring another knight to c5 to stop white's c pawn(s). Black king is safely castled and got intact pawn structure. So, it'd be great to know why, exactly, it is objectively winning for white - 'cause objectively it may be, but "obviously" it is not quite. :)
@naruhina012607
@naruhina012607 7 ай бұрын
From what i can see, c3 isn't a threat at the moment cuz qf3 would hit all 3 minor pieces and you are definitely losing one of them. The d6 pawn is extremely weak and if that pawn is gone, white has a pass pawn, also kd7 allows bc7 and you can't defend that pawn cuz knight blocks the rook and queen covers e7. Both of blacks knight don't really have a good move, white squared bishop can't move cuz knight hangs, black squared bishop also doesn't have a good move, one of black rook is trapped in a corner cuz of the bad knight. Maybe plug it into an engine to get a more detailed answer but this is just what i noticed. Probably still hard to play as white as humans which is why magnus didn't go for it but to engine its a different story
