HYBE is now a powerhouse in the industry thanks to Bang PD, BTS, and some other really smart people. Interesting fact, BTS just renewed their third 7 yr contract with HYBE shortly before their enlistment. They did this 2 years early as their last contract wasn't due to expire until 2025. Rm's Joke is something I think you would enjoy alot. He addresses people that said he is not a real rapper and can't rap. His word play and cadence is absolutely awesome and is my favorite of his dis tracks.

This explanation is all correct and has great observations...BUT Things he didn't mention: It was not known at the time this explanation video came out but it appears you were subsequently told this: it is indeed part of a trilogy that is about Yoongi's (Suga's) mental health journey. The other two parts are Haegeum and Amygdala. In each, he plays dual roles, a "bad" more troubled version of himself and a "good" version of himself. In Daechwita he is the Mad King, with blonde hair like his hair in BTS early years. He is paranoid, angry and isolated. The scar represents his various real-life traumas, which he sees as self-inflicted wounds because he was not equipped to deal with all the things that happened in his life and so they turned into lasting traumas. The Mad King's scar is much fresher and rawer. The other self, the Peasant Agust D, has his 6 BTS brothers, Bang PD and ARMY behind him. He is more confident and happier, and the scar is more healed. He leads a coup and kills his rage and paranoia. In Daechwita it's another aspect of self he is battling, which I won't reveal here. In Amygdala we go inside his mind and get a sort of origin story of much of his trauma. He has said these are a trilogy of songs telling his story. He also mentions his mental health and journey in other songs like The Last, Shadow, First Love, People, People Pt 2 and other songs.

He's wrong about what it represents agust d told us himself what it means and it's carry on the fight within himself in Haegeum MV as well. In the third part he lets us know where his inner conflict comes from his real life trauma's. We only get to know he's completely ok put it all to bed in his finale D-Day concert where the walks through the door on stage in the finale day of the finale concert. So he kind of gets some of it later in this explanation MV and the historial references.

Jungkook and Jin appear in the MV they are the 2 in the background in the market who get into a fight. Also notice the person who cuts off heads is the butcher in the market and there's eye contact between low cast Agust D and him as they acknowledge each other. He's in on low cast Agust d's plan. The tyrant emperior Agust Represents the angry side of him which he has to kill off and does over time in real life.

If you watch BTS “shadow: interlude“ from their MAP OF THE SOUL : 7 album, Suga talks about the shadows you find when you become successful. And I feel in this song he is saying that once you become the king you can either let ego control you and turn you into a tyrant or you can choose to turn away from the corruption of fame. so for me these two songs are bookings to each other. Suga is telling us his journey here as BTS became this world famous band. He could’ve let fame corrupt him but he chose to stay humble. And you really hear that conclusion and choice when you listen to his album D3.

Actually, Danny's interpretation isn't what SUGA meant, but art is for interpretation. Suga said in a behind the scenes, the King Suga is Agust D from 2016, and the peasant Suga is 2020 Agust D. He said that his 2016 is angry, and he is now not that angry anymore. He's grown a lot. So I see this as his inner struggle, and getting rid of the old ideas and moving on.
