His tactics yesterday were appalling. Australia play narrow and pack the middle so england did the same. No pace or width. Just players passing it to each other in a packed midfield. Playing taa at right back when we all want him in the middle. Picking players who shouldnt be anywhere near the squad. He is honestly a terrible manager.

Gareth Southgate has mastered gas lighting to a tee. He knows exactly why people are booing and are getting frustrated at his squad selections, but he's managed to obtain one hell of an ego in the last few years. There are a number of players he should choose based on recent performances...Nick Pope, James Ward-Prowse, Solly March, Ben White to name a few. Pickford is lucky to still be a premier league goalkeeper and hasn't been good for a couple of seasons, yet he's the first name of the team sheet in competitive games, while you have 2 goalkeepers who helped get their teams into the top 4 last season, and one of them can't even get in the squad. It's crazy.

Sadly, Henderson will be in the squad at next years euros. He's not going to ditch him now, with only a couple of qualifiers left. He should have been told he was finished before the last round of qualifiers. Its players like Ward - Prowse and Sterling who will suffer. France or Portugal will win euros. With every further comment he just continues to dig the hole, and to see him squirming when asked if Henderson promoting the Saudi World Cup bid might have been a factor in the fan reaction was to witness a man being caught trying to have his cake and eat it.

Well Henderson was no more a regular in the Liverpool midfield so at least he is playing regularly
