To each their own, as long as they are outside of earshot of other paddlers. Beautiful shots. However, after traveling that far to escape signs of humanity, it would piss me off to no end if I was sitting around the fire listening to someone's electric toy. I love the remote Arctic rivers for their solitude and lack of mechanical noise. There are few places left on earth where it is possible.
