Big shout out to ‪@ImportImageRacing‬ for hooking me up with some amazing cosmetics for the car. I have been wanting to upgrade the lip because i have coilovers coming. I also have to deal with the fact that I broke my AFD lip so much haha. I did end up going with color match Noble pieces for my 2022 WRX. The paint match isnt perfect but id say its damn close. I have so many different whites on the car i dont think it even matters anymore haha. If you are looking for cosmetics or more parts for your 2022 WRX definitely check out Import Image Racing. The timing of this video is perfect. I’m installing the noble spats and side skirts this weekend. I also have the Oem mud flaps so you saved me some pain figuring out what to do 😂. Car is looking great dude!

That's perfect! Save yourself the pain haha. I did end up using the bigger pop clips from the radiator. Not sure what you'll end up using but lmk how it goes!

The new lip looks great. I have the Aeroflo like the one you just removed. I also hove the Silvers coil overs. I do have to be very careful. The Silvers are very easy to install. I did have the luxury of a lift however. Keep up doing the great videos.

When I did the rear spats on mine I used 3 pop clips and then 1 self tapper in the rear (I widened the 2 middles holes to fit the pop clips). The pop clip in the front i was able to use but i absolutely had to murder my thumb in the process haha. I got the noble CF ones on my WR blue, happy with them so far. IIR has been great

Haven't done anything except wheels, but that grill has peaked my interest. Hadn't actually seen it yet, only the sport grill which I also feel the same about.

I feel like that passenger side fog light insert should be cut with a dremel and used to help funnel fresh cool air up to the intake. There is a CF vent that might match nicely...waiting for a color match version.

When I put that grill on, I had to do it twice. Because I didn’t realize how much white paint from the radiator brace. So I taped off the radiator with a garbage bag and then painted all the white (and those blue things flat black. And now it look more phantom-ish and less like someone kicked your grill in. 😂

Nice vid as usual 😊. Did you have any trouble putting the bumper back on ? You didn't show putting it back on.Also if you are going to put coil overs on remember to go to the store and get a box of band aids😅😊

The only issue I ran into was the plastic shroud which I had to remove. Besides that bumper went on easy. I have taken it off so many times now 😂

Those black raw plastics will always chip if you don't sand first, then apply an adhesion promoter, followed by non-etching primer, then paint and clear. I learned it the hard way. 😅

I've been looking at getting the mesh grill as well. Only problem is that IIR doesn't show WRB as a color option in their dropdown. Love the look of color matched lip as well

Yikes a Knuckle-Buster! haha I got the JDMuscleusa aero combo, and same thing. I have RAlly Armor flaps so no bracket like that. But I did use a drill bit and drill out that smaller hole on the spat and then used the stock clips, and for front with no bracket, and then the self-tap, no tape. Worked great. But yes annoying you have to do modifications from the factory.

Ive been doing the opposite for once, only exterior stuff for now, real mods later. Burned myself one too many times doing opposite so im sticking with the warranty this time ( or atleast trying to.. its hard to stop myself). Im super excited to dive into real mods again eventually but crap its so hard not to. also for my lip/sides i did 3m to start and kinda line it up then the self tappers, i think the combo will help holding it tight cause 3m is surprisingly strong

That's actually never a bad idea tbh. I love cosmetic mods actually but never really bought them before because my previous cars were already low, or had good factory aero, nice spoilers

I went with eBay front and side lips and they fit just as perfectly for quite a bit less so I was happily content with how they came out, bunch of other little things too like the blackout kits for all the lights and tint it, but I do want to do the wing myself too it looks great, just looks a little goofy with both the lip and wing that the premium comes with.. lol

I like the front grill but all the skirting I would paint matt black same the rims, mud flaps if required in black and then get a white wing Matt black for the roof. Or you could just paint all the skirts in red with black rims and and matt black roof and then leave the rest stock. If you like what you have and your're happy then kudos but yeah sorry, I'm not diggin your ride at the moment. Best of luck bro, trial and error

Well the things that you're describing are super subjective. There's absolutely nothing wrong with liking something different. For me I love the black and white and the white accents really help the cladding stand out even more which I really appreciate in this design. I will actually be getting rid of the lip to replace it with a bumper bar very soon. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the rest of the arrow kit though considering I'm going lifted and I will be using this car for the dirt track and rallycross. So the build is changing quite a bit you should check out the latest videos.

Try installing the AFD v7 spats.. What a PITA! On the first pop clip behind the mud flap it is not contoured to fit flush. The spat is aluminum and it leaves a quarter inch gap to the hole. I did get it after 20 minutes of brute force pushing the pop clip. They do look great but if you ever switch out yours for the AFD spats. Your in for a world of F-bombs!

Just a suggestion. For behind the grill, why not plastidip it black and see how you like it. If not a fan u can remove it.

Oh yea I looked into those and they have a long ramp and only like 3-4 inches. The ones I have are like super steep and regular haha.

This is very true. I just don't like the sport grill. I tried to like it. If anything I like the JDM version of our eom grill because or a black. Out of the aftermarket options I went with this because I do like that catfish look 😂

Why not mount the lip to the bumper while it is off the car?

Realistically one of the "ease of use" features for the lip is you should be able to install it without removing the bumper. It's not easy for everyone to do. Later on I actually bolted this lip to the bumper because I don't like the self tapping screws.

@@HeavyMetalWRX The beginning of the video where you had the black grill laid up against the bumper, kind of gave the lip the illusion of being black in the middle. It'd look great! And it'd match the rear spats as the rear is now white at the corners and black through the middle.

@@HeavyMetalWRX that’s what I thought I was hearing but wasnt sure. Seems like you have some Native American blood still running strong within your family. That name seems very Native American which I don’t believe very common these days. Great videos man. Keep it up 👍
