Well technically it is de-facto part of medicine. The profession of diagnosing and treating is essentially what medicine is and we do tell patients to meditate and music is also a form of meditation.

I recently failed one of my units at university, but my dream for medicine is still there. I've learnt an important lesson from that failure and will use it to drive me. I recently went through this too. Once I understood why it happened, I was able to solve my problems and become a better student. I'm still not the student I'd like to be, but I'm already noticing significant improvements. I hope we will be excellent doctors in the future, receive my hug directly from Brazil!

I know this playlist is comprised of Western (European) classical music, but it calls to mind an Ancient Chinese herablist in the back of his shop, using a mortar and pestle to grind up ingredients for his medicines and remedies. An excellent listening experience!

@@yasminesid2005 Third-year medical student here, sharing my tips: >Study with a partner and give speeches to each other about the subject (this method saved me for anatomy, histology, biochemistry, and physiology, honestly my most important tip here). >Contextualize the subject with images and mental maps to help you make sense of a concept or system, always explain them to yourself. >Repetition is key. It's better to study for shorter periods every day than to cram for long hours before exams. >If you don't understand something, try changing your information source. This can give you a different perspective that allows you to grasp the whole concept instead of just memorizing something that you doesn't understand. >Understanding a concept is always better than memorizing it, as the subjects are cumulative. Hope this helps, and good luck!

I studied physiotherapy and occupational therapy before becoming an registered acupuncturist. It was a wild ride. I still remembered staying up late to study when most of my family members were asleep. I don't miss those days but it was still memorable. I'm glad to be able to help my patients with my utmost ability~ Medicine is challenging but it will be so worth it in the end~

as a pre-med student everyday you have tiring day and drained day even your tired you need to get up and start new chapter of your journey again even sometimes the schedule and the things happen inside the laboratory and discussion is kinda make you worry at all times because you are afraid to fail because you thinking in the future that there is no room for mistake for being medical professionals so that you can save life of allot of people and not taking them on risk of death in your hand but to cure and treat them ,but infact sometimes you gonna forget to take care of yourself because you need to study and grind for more also to meet the expectations of your professor

Coming from a former pre-med student who didn't make it past the national entrance test for medicine (I'm frm India), I gotta say, this playlist got me thru the tough times while I ws preparing this past one yr. Hey, a big thanks to doctors and nurses. I had a surgery last month, and the care I got still affects me. They were all so gentle. I hope you all are doing well, remember no matter what goes wrong you have to keep going. I’m sure you all are amazing in your field. Med students, keep studying. Its 1st may today and the biggest medical exam of india is on the 5th and here i am listening to this while revising my entire 90 chapter syllabus for a 720 mark exam. Studying to be a doctor, and being one is not easy. My father and grandfather are both doctors from GMC ( a reputed college in india ) and looking at them made me realise how important of a job it is. All the doctors out there, i salute you. You inspire me so much and i am eternally grateful, and excited for this new journey. To all my fellow aspirants, YOU GOT THIS!!
