Dawnguard: Becoming a Vampire Lord pt. 2 [1080p]

[2/5] part series on the just released Dawnguard DLC for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I am playing as a 100% mage. Due to playing as a mage there are so many ways to kill people and a LOT of menu scrolling between spells, powers, and such. This is the full DLC path to becoming a vampire lord and the first quest you get to test out your new powers. I played the whole thing through as a Vampire as soon as I gained the ability and also showed off all the perks as well. This is the first quest for Dawnguard that you have to complete no matter which side you chose. All of the the cut-scenes/dialog not skipped (most options asked). No commentary just Skyrim. Enjoy!
"In the interest of time..." That battle was about 5 minutes of spell shooting through the gate haha. He killed me the first time (you can see what happened at the end of the video) so I decided to not take any chances and that way was a lot funnier.
Overview:
Part 1: How to start Dawnguard, Introduction, Beginning First Quest.
Part 2: Continuing quest, Major story part.
Part 3: New Dragon Shout, Finishing first quest, The choice, Becoming a Vampire Lord.
Part 4: First quest as vampire lord, testing abilities/powers.
Part 5: Finishing first vampire lord quest.
Note: If some spots fade out or cut randomly it is to save time from:
- Loading / Traveling (outside quest lines)
- Looting
- Lost my path for an embarrassing long time
- Various Xbox Live interactions
- Bloopers *will post at end of series
- Any other possible interruptions

Thanks! To be honest I think I am going to do another video showing off the Mage since it is a lot of fun. All my videos I only end up using destruction. I kinda wanna show off some illusion, alteration, and other classes since that's even more fun then just charge and blast method. But yea I seem to get that type of response being a mage. All I see are warriors so I thought I would change it up. Glad you liked them!

i tried playing a mage a couple times but i never found it any fun because i thought u were restricted to just the standard novice, apprentice, adept, expert, and master spells but now from watching ur vids it actually looks like a ton of fun. nice vids!

I am a level 100 in all magic fields on this character. Some I found, most I bought from the college of winterhold from each specific dealer. The "Lightning Storm" is one of three final Master spells you get for destruction. Like most spell levels there is a fire and frost one also. To get it you must get Destruction to 100, talk to Faralda and she will give you the quest to unlock the first one, then after that you can buy Lightning storm from her once finish the quest. Hope that helped!

It's called the favorites menu. Go to your magic, weapons, items, or whatever you want to quickly access. Then click Y if your on 360 and it will favorite it for you. Then all you have to do it hit up or down on the D-Pad and it will open up the menu and you can quickly access anything from the items, powers, shouts, spells etc. Really useful instead of always going through all the options. I would keep it to a minimum cause even the quick access favorites menu can get crowded fast.

Your welcome. It will look much better on your computer if you decide to get it. KZfaq has so many videos they have to cut down the quality to keep them all uploaded. I can't tell the difference in quality at all from my TV or recorded on my PC. It's a great buy if you have the money. Thanks for watching!

Cool well yea it's a lot of fun. Lots of cool things you can do as a Mage and I only showed off the tip of the iceberg. I have all master spells and ill be sure to show them off if I ever record on this character again.

in ur next video, it would be great if u showed us how much base magicka, health, and stamina u have and the enchanted items you have because ur character looks really beast and it would be a really helpful tip for making a beast mage

Yea no problem I was just thinking that since I didn't show off any of my stats. Ill be sure to do that and I guess if you guys really want although I hate my voice I could to a commentary on how I got all my stats up. Most likely ill just put it in the description. It takes a lot of time working on a single character but once your done it is a lot of fun.

I have about 800+/- magicka and all of the items I wear are dual enchanted with 25% less cost for destruction spells and more magicka boosts.

It's the master destruction spell for lightning. You have to get your destruction to 100 and then do the master destruction spell quest for Faralda. Faralda is the master destruction trainer in the College of Winterhold, simply get it to 100. Talk to her, then finish the quest. After that she will sell you the Lightning and Ice master spells, you get fire from completing the quest itself. :) hope that helps!
