A celebration of Jimmy Faulkner's life was held at the Olympia Theatre, Dublin, 22nd September 2008, featured musicians included: Anto Drennan, Bill Bergin, Bree Harris & Paul Fairclough, Brian Downey, Brian Dunning, Brian Harris, Brush Shiels, Café Orchestra, Carl Geraghty, Colm Querney, Christy Moore & Declan Sinnott, Ditch Cassidy, Don Baker, Ed Deane, Fran Breen, Fran Byrne, Frankie Lane, Garry O'Briain and Mairtin O'Connor, Gary Moore, Gerry Hendricks, Greg Boland, Henry McCullough, Honor Heffernan, James Delaney, John Quearney, Kevin Malone, Martin Curry, Mary Stokes & Brian Palm, Mick Hanly, Mick Pyro, Nigel Mooney, Noel Bridgeman, Pat Farrell, Paul Brady, Paul Moore, Pete Cummins, Phillip Donnelly, Red Peters, Richie Buckley, Robbie Overson and Tommy Moore. Jimmy died 4th March 2008.

아직도 믿기지가 않네요 ㅠㅠ 내가 너무너무 좋아하는 목소리... 이제 다시 들을 수 없다는게 믿기지가 않아요... 코로나때문에 ㅠㅠ 내 첫 아들 꼭 만나게 해주고 싶었는데... 아직 보지도 못하고 별이 되셨네요... 부디 하늘나라에선 평온하세요 ㅠㅠ Thank you for sharing with us🙏

Stumbled across this and listened to it three times in a row. Such a beautiful song. I checked out the recorded versions on Spotify and they don’t even come close. Thanks for uploading.

NEVER KNEW HE SANG OR PLAYED GUITAR , BUT WHAT A DRUMMER , I REMEMBER THE GIGS N THE RUGBY CLUB IN GREYSTONES ON A SATURDAY NIGHT.GREAT. MEMORIES . REST IN PEACE NOEL , AND CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY.

well i have to say of all the versions i've heard of this song, this version is by far the best even better than the original i love it so much,, he sang this song at my cousins funeral :( , i can't stop listening to it, this song should be released with Noel singing it. he make this song his own FABULOUS!!

I went to a concern at the National Concert Hall many years ago (early 90's maybe) and Noel sang this song back then. I never forgot it and was delighted to find it here. Outstanding.

@rayclaire I love your uncle. I met him once when he was touring with Mary and I love his version of Jai guru deva. He is one hell of a musician and I'd buy a CD if he released it. The grittiness and rawness of his voice moves me and anything he sings seem to be transformed and become totally his own.

This is my fathers uncle. My fathers name is paul bridgeman. My grandads name is kevin bridgeman

@downtowndetroitdubli The song was actually written by Dick Glasser , it was as you say recorded by Billy Fury in the '60's. The version I remember best was Ruby Turners in the '70's. This version here is indeed awesome.

Bearing in mind Noel is first and foremost a non-singing drummer (one of the best!), he does a pretty darn good vocal - only saw him sing one other song before. Claire Bridgeman, how's your cousin Audrey? She on Facebook at all?
