I have a more "gymbro" solution. Pour some 98% sulfuric acid in a glas beaker, mix it with concentrated nitric acid, then ad some food grade hydrogen peroxide, mix them with a glass rod and u have something that could get rid of that smell, the bottle, and probably your hands

VITAL TIP for avoiding bad smells in any plastic recipient: After you wash it, leave it OPEN so air can flow in and out. Even if you wash it real good, you leave it closed, the smell will come back as it cannot leave the bottle.

I’m not a very clean person, I leave a mess and i’m a lil dirty bird. But there are two things I never forget. I never leave food out to rot and I never EVER EVER EVER EVER under any circumstances let my shaker go unwashed after use. It is the very very first thing I do as soon as I get back from the gym.

It's even enough to just superficially rinse it and make sure it dries to avoid the stink. Not hard to do at all.

loool that's just how we split the chores in the house, i handle the dishes and he deals with the laundry. sometimes you just gotta take the occasional L. i told him to at least rinse the content though and the smell is at least bearable now
