It is the evening before Valentine's Day and the rookies are on a night out at the same location as Grey and his wife, who are celebrating their Valentine's Day. After Grey tells them to leave, Nolan gets in into a brawl with a man who is harassing a woman at the bar, ruining Grey's evening...
From Season 1 Episode 12 "Heartbreak": It's Valentine's Day! Bradford takes the day off to visit Isabel in rehab, where he realises that they can no longer be together if she is to recover. Elsewhere, Nolan saves the life of a lonely widow, who then decides to stalk Nolan believing that their meeting was a sign. Later, Lopez searches Evers' phone, wrongly believing he's cheating on her, which ends up ruining their relationship.

I lost one job for a similar reason. my boss insisting that I had to learn his language because I was in his country or some BS like that and when I got tired I said to him: "On my free time I am the boss and I do what I want, I don't want anybody here telling me what to do when I'm not at work". 2 days later I was told I wouldn't continue working with them.

Great scene and show, but thats hollywood as hell to say that a cop wont carry at all. Maybe in certain situations or if youre a desk rider, but what street cop doesnt carry....EVER while off
