I just bought this bike for $50 and I'm just in the process of cleaning it up. It was nice to see a video on it.

@@kennethhumphrey952 I don't have any other videos but, I can say that over the years I have not had any other problems or issues other than the selector buttons. My bike is very quiet and the seat adjustment works good. The fan works, although I wish it was more powerful.

@@lenzwizard The bike that I bought was kept on a porch and didn't get much love but I think it will work out well after fixinh a few things.

I just bought one used, but when I run it off of the power supply or batteries, it plays a buzzing sound out of the speakers that progressivly gets louder and higher pitched. At the same time time, the display seems to flicker at a pretty fast rate. Havent taken it apart yet, but this video helps show how to do that so thanks!!

For the buzzing sound, check the male headphone jack/wire. Sometimes my bike would mine would have static coming out of the speakers and after moving the wire around a little bit it would go away.

I have the exact same model which won't light up although the bike still works, I can't see anything. Any idea how to fix it? I can't find any reset button people talked about in other video's with IFit but I don't use the IFit

I'm not an expert on this kind of thing. However, if it is not lighting up, it may be a power connection problem. I would disconnect the wires and try reconnecting them. Look for any broken connections.

I just got this same exercise bike. Is there an on off switch to save the power on the batteries. Or do you have to pull the batteries out?
@lenzwizard3 ай бұрын
I currently use the AC adapter, however many years ago when I first bought the bike I used the battery power. There is no power switch. When the pedals make a 1/2 turn or if a button is pushed on the console the power comes on. If there is no activity after 3 minutes or so the unit powers off.

I have a bike as well but I can't find where to plug in the power supply. So I have been using batteries. Do you plug yours in? And if so where is the plug. Thanks

Hi Ann, I'm not at home at the moment but, I believe it plugs in down at the bottom front, close to the floor.

@@lenzwizard That's where the little opening is. And don't try using a cord that isn't 6V.
@lenzwizard3 жыл бұрын
@@briangregory6303 I was fortunate enough that when I purchased my bike new I also purchased an AC adapter. The only time I have used battery power was during long blackouts.

@@lenzwizard Hi! I’ve had this bike for a long time but want to start using it again. The console doesn’t work with the batteries for some reason. I bought a power supply but don’t know where to plug it in.

Hahaha same thing happened to me years ago. Look for the little porthole at the bottom front of the bike. Down by the floor.

I'm going to open my same bike up to look for fuses because I hooked 12V up to it, because I'm an idiot, and it takes 6V.

😬 I'm not an expert. However, you may have done some damage. I don't recall seeing fuses in my unit when I had it apart.
