Norfolk Broads Experience - July 2023 - Day 4

Welcome back to episode 4 of our Norfolk Broads July Experience!
In this episode we set off from the beautiful moorings at Fleet Dyke and have a peaceful cruise (with some lovely weather) down to Acle. From Acle we grab a bus into Great Yarmouth to stretch our legs and explore the famous seaside town! We then finish our evening with a fantastic meal at The Acle Bridge Inn before enjoying yet another stunning sunset. So come join us!

Hi, thanks for your comment! .. and what a small world it is! Yes we are from Newcastle! Would be really interested to know whether you were visiting The Broads on holiday or whether you've relocated? When we first watched our video back, during the edit, we did notice you both on the bridge at the time with the dogs! So it's even nicer that you've seen this and commented. Take care!

@twomenandaboat8681 we go alot every year, I'm originally from Wallsend but live in Durham now, we are on the broads for Easter weekend then back end of April, July and September. Yes that's us with the 2 hairy beast's, Really good video, and one place we have never stopped at is South Walsham but definitely going to after your video, shame on me I've been going for over 40 years now

Hi Nicole! Many thanks for your comment - yes there are plenty of swans on The Broads! Make sure you check our the rest of our videos (you might even see a few feathered friends captured on film!) Plus, you should definitely visit one time - take care

Would you say there's a lot less traffic on the River this year

Hi Roland! Many thanks for your comment as always - we didn't seem to notice any major difference when we cruised on the Northern Broads, however, we did seem to think that the Southern Broads were quieter than usual that time of year. However, when we were on The Northern Broads in May, we were quite surprised at how quiet the North was! Hope that helps - take care

What time of July was this ? It seems a lot quieter than when I was there in October 2020

Hi Russel, this was filmed during the 1st week of July '23. We were very surprised how quiet The Broads were, especially the Northern Broads during that trip; not quite sure why that was!

@@twomenandaboat8681 great thank you. I’ll be heading back there in late July this year but suspect it may be busier than your time there due to the schools being out. I enjoyed your videos, keep it up !
