I watch Russell,s videos but sadly things got too much and not knowing enough probably people were beginning to be nasty as they do on social media. It’s sad that people who genuinely like what people like you put out are hounded. I for one will always enjoy whatever and when you decide to put something out. Yes, sometimes life events do have to take priority even though we really enjoy making our videos. Our motto is 'better late than never', so even if we are not undertaking a regular upload schedule (at this particular moment in time), the videos will come out eventually! It's really sad to hear that there is nastiness online, but sadly, that's not too uncommon when you can post anonymously. Hi Alasdair, thanks for your comment. We agree, the food at the Water's Edge is relatively more pricey compared to other eateries on The Broads; we certainly feel that the quality of the food and service justified the higher price. We did not know that Marco Pierre White used to own the Wayford Bridge Inn - where is that pub located? The Reedcutters is still on our list of pubs to visit, so we will add that to the list for the future. Funnily enough, we also thought the same as you, on our first couple of visits to The Broads, we thought that Coldham Hall was a private club and that the moorings were private only. We are glad it's not, as it's a place we really enjoying staying at; the pub and food are excellent. You are right, there are companies that 'charter' their fleet, which is synonymous with 'hiring', and often with that, there is an increased cost. However, in our experience and opinion, we feel that with this higher cost, comes excellent service and premium accommodation and amenities on-board. We do appreciate that this might not be for everyone, but we like to treat ourselves when on holiday. Take care!
