Welcome back to the third episode of our May visit to the Norfolk Broads! Today we set off from the relaxing Stokesby and make our way further up the River Bure towards our end destination of Ranworth.. where we finally get a mooring! So join us on our cruise and exploration of what Ranworth has to offer.

Absolutely beautiful. We left Norfolk and UK 12 years ago. Brings back many wonderful memories. Miss the gentle lapping of the water against the hull during the night time in bed. Great video and background music.

Let's hope so,actually we're trying to find a Boat for October 2nd the wife's Birthday, we were going to book a static caravan in Steeple southminster Essex,but the reviews were Dire,one review actually said the were Zombie like,so it's a week on a Boat for us,realy enjoyed all off your Vlogs,Blessings keep up the good work rgds Steve&Theresa

Your videos are giving us a good view of the recent changes on the Broads. We have not been since the Covid-19 Pandemic. The free moorings at Stokesby Village Green are very new - the only public moorings were where you moored and at the Stokesby Ferry Inn. Never realised how much public mooring there was at Cantlay. Great to see the new moorings at Boundary Farm, even if they are just a tiny proportion of what used to be at Thurne Mouth. It used to be a favourite regular mooring spot.

Hi Alasdair, are you planning on returning to The Broads anytime soon? It sounds like a lot has changed since you last visited. We've passed the 24-hour free Stokesby moorings many times but unfortunately, never seem to be able to get a mooring as it always seems to be occupied by private craft, hopefully one day. Once again, Boundary Farm moorings are another spot that we would love to stay at, it looks a really peaceful and beautiful location!

Thank you once more for a really interesting video. Did you notice when you managed to top up with water at Acle whether or not you can get a pump out there if needed.

You can get a pump out at Bridgecraft Acle.

Hi Bernadette! Thanks for your comment, we are glad you found it interesting to watch. As ynys_mon6928 rightly said, you can get a pump-out at Bridgecraft in Acle. The old Pedro's site only has water now (with an honesty box) but no pump-out. Take care!

Water top up at Acle, is that available for all hire boats ? Just trying to plan water stops.
