Norfolk Broads Experience - Part 6 September 2022

Күн бұрынIn this episode we start our day by having a nice walk from Peto's Marsh into Oulton Broad. We then set off for a relaxing cruise down the River Waveney towards our destination for the evening at Bramerton Common.

Crikes, we own a boat on the Broads and have been up and down that stretch of river loads of times, but like you, we have never seen the tide that high before, especially in that area! Whilst you were filming this, our boat had been lifted out the water so that I could paint the hull (steel), so obviously I didn't notice what the tides were during that period. In fact where our boat was stacked, I could observe all of the NYA charter boats coming and going, I might have even seen you there? Great video, we can't wait to go back :-) Well done!

Thanks for your lovely comment! Yes we were surprised with how high the tides were too. You never know, you might have seen us come and go! Do enjoy your time back on the rivers and if you do ever see us, please give us a shout!

Herringfleet is one of our favourite moorings and no , never seen the water that high before. I know it can go down a long way and you feel you must be sitting on the river bed but you are not.

We agree Bernadette, Herringfleet is a great mooring - really peaceful spot and fantastic for dark skies also! When are you on The Broads next?

@@twomenandaboat8681 Unfortunately not until 2024 on a boat which we are looking forward to. Once you get the bug for the Broads it never leaves you.

Unwatchable, had 4 adverts run before the video, one was over 3 mins. I'm done with YT...

Thanks for your comment; sadly, we do not seem to have any control over the adverts that sometimes run before our videos start or even in the middle. Neither of us are very tech-savvy, so do not get why some videos have adverts and others don't. If it's any consolation, we often feel the same as you, especially when watching other KZfaq channels. Sometimes a 'skip' button appears whereby you can skip the adverts in question.
