My two favorites. Never met norm but I met Billy Joe Shaver on several occasions. He was always a consummate gentlemen except for the one time he told me to “beat it, kid” and then pushed me on the ground and then he broke the record I wanted him to sign over his knee and then he invited all of his cowboy friends over to circle me and laugh. That time he was a dick.
