Let's find out if eating on a budget in New York City is possible.
New York City has always been known to be an expensive town, so thinking about being able to eat on a budget may seem impossible. But I'm here to tell you that cheap eats in NYC do exist. Whether if its breakfast, lunch or dinner, you don't have to worry about the price. Cost of food has gone up in most places but I have some spots that will be good for your budget. I'm taking you to some of the best tacos in the city that just happen to be next to Times Square, a rooftop bar over looking Times Square with a great view, a super famous pizza spot, and a cheap Chinatown location. Hope you enjoy!

Great video! A bit of trivia when I saw the pizza restaurant was on Bleeker Street. The song "She's Gone" by Hall & Oates came about when John Oates met a woman at a 24 hour restaurant on Bleeker Street in the 1970s.

Oh, Norma, Norma! The title is "Best _CHEAP EATS_ in New York City" ... and the *second* sequence is about BOOZE! LMAO! Goooooo Norma! I can't tell you how many times I've staggered in/out of Bleeker Street Pizza after a late night of partying while watching new bands in that area (Bleeker Street/West Village). Doesn't the very dry Peroni go *great* with Pizza? I usually don't like booze of any kind with my food, so, if I can't get a Peroni with my pie/slice somewhere, I'm having a Pepsi! Some of my favs in NYC were Mizu Sushi, Bagelsmith Bagels (GINORMOUS BAGLES!), and John's Pizza (best BBQ Chicken slices ever!), all in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Up in my "hood" (Bed-Stuy/Bushwick @ Park 'n Broadway, Brooklyn), we were blessed with Taqueria Baja California, Los Cuchifritos (Puerto Rican Cafeteria-style food), as well as Mannas (all-you-can-eat Soulfood). ALL were cheap _and_ AMAZING! In Manhatten, I _loved_ Ayada Pad Thai in the Chelsea Market, Bleeker Street Pizza, Star on 18 Diner, and Corner Bistro (Best hand-made burgers in NYC!). For cheap beers, ya couldn't top Woody McHale's on 14th Street with a *bucket* of 5 Yeunglings for _TEN BUCKS!_ (Sadly, this place became a victim of the 'rona) R.I.P Woody's! It was our crew's go-to pub after a long day of gigging at Highline Ballroom.

My favorite nyc cheap eat is Mamoun’s Falafel. It’s across from Bleeker st. On McDougle st. They have a huge line all day , you can’t miss it

I think the only "cheap" eat place I know in NYC is Papaya King. Lol! But nice to know about these other places, especially Beast & Butterflies. My girlfriend and I will be in NYC for New Eve's Party, maybe we can get a table at that place.

Even though I do really love your videos, you guys would be jealous of the way I live well and cheaply... near a nice beach. Just saw Pompsie at the Monte Carlo in France. Always wanted to see it and so now I have. Love all you guys. I play $5 roulette at another beach (sometimes). Simple life is the way to go.

“Punjab Deli”, the no-frills outrageously delicious vegetarian Indian hole in the wall (across from Katz’s Deli) would’ve been a great addition to this list. Adding their free “Hot Mango Punjabi Pickle” (a chunky hot sauce) to whatever you order makes the flavors EXPLODE!

Shu Jiao Fuzhou is a classic and an OG spot and the peanut sauce with noodle is what the place is known for. Great video Norma as always. Ps always love your bloopers 😎

Oh my... That was like, Mikey Chen caliber! Great job! 😀 Gosh, I'm old enough to remember when Times Square was a dumphole. It was *shocking* (in a good way) to see it after it was fixed up. If I ever make it back to NYC, I'll try Bleeker St. Pizza! 🙂 Cheap Chinese food like that can be found in Toronto too! 😛
