Two legends together, so sad that neither are now longer with us. Once bumped into Norman Wisdom in the mid 90s, what an absolute gentleman, shall never forget that moment. RIP good sirs.

What a legend! One of Britain's true great all round entertainers. Sir Norman was amazing: he didn't change over the years, just aged, and still had a good singing voice into his 90's. I remember watching his films as I grew up in the 70's with such fond memories. RIP. 😂❤

When ever I see him i just fill up. Hes so lovely as a kid i watched him. I'm 54 now still watching him. They broke the mold when he was born a true Gentleman God Bless Him

I cannot believe earlier this evening I was watching this, thinking how amazing this man is and within a couple of hours it has become 'was'. What sad news! A very funny man. Possibly the last of the 'greats' of British movie comedy.

What an amazing human being, such a star and such a heart. Watched him with my parents and now with my kids. Timeless.The modern day Prima Donna's with their agents and total lack of talent don't stand in the same room.

Christian values used to be more embedded in the national psyche, as opposed to the post-modern moral vacuum we live in now. 2) people had less distractions ( eg electronic media) and related more to one another.

Nostalgic memories bring me here to the amazing talent of the late great Sir Norman Wisdom. I wish I could have met this gentle man who gave so much pleasure to all those who watched his movies and interviews. Isn't it strange how we type away our feelings and appreciation to those who have passed and obviously cannot read our posts, it is of course in no disrespect to the person who posted this and for which I thank you kindly. RIP Norman

What a lovely bloke. Just make sure you make the most of life, everyone. He brought us tears and laughter, but he didn't have a great few years towards the end. Makes you think, who knows where we'll end up. Love him xxxx

@@peteandurnot Hai! 😂, I agree Pete! And I love the quality sense of humor of Norman Wisdom immensly! However, I must say that it's just about almost becoming a close call between Bush and Trump. I'm not an American (but if it could have been possible..!), I think Norman Wisdom would have been the better president of the U.S.A of AT LEAST the two of THEM! Seriously AND with jokes where they would be in their right place and timing!🌹 ⬇️ I saw Sir Norman Wisdom for the first time when I was 16 years old(1980) and KNEW I had to remember that name! 💖 Sincerly, God bless, gentlemen, and have a nice day. i've admired norman since been a boy watching his films ,i was in awe and he brought me such joy as an only child ,and such a great humanitarian if only all the rich gave something back like dear sweet norman ,i cant wait to see him in the resurrection on earth where there will be no wicked governments or people , only people that love each other and this beautiful planet . psalms 37 verses 9 to 11. god bless you norman it wont be long the way things are going .
