Has this guy read The Passion According to G.H.? He just nonchalantly brings about one of the most mindblowing philosophical ideas discussed in that book. That of humanity being a costume we wear to forget “naked” life (the jellyfish representing naked life here). Where in the book G.H attempts to remember raw (naked) life and goes through the process of tearing away her humanity, NL simply embraces the costumes we wear. Truly humanities greatest soldier.

omg when he said "getting an education in biology messed with my brain" i totally felt that. when we learned about blood vessels and aneurysms and heart failure and lung collapses and pulmonary embolisms in our last year of high school, that shit gave me a new horrible phobia. i can just be chilling in bed and suddenly be in horrible pain and just die??????
