5 years later!! The first of at least 3 epilogues where I revisit Northwynd who has sat untouched since the series ended in 2019 and demonstrate the soloability of older legendary raids, even on this toon that does not have past lives or reaper points or modern gear, not built for dps and without epic destinies activated.
Here I solo Fire on Thunder Peak to show how soloable this 10 year old raid is by today's standards.
This series is based on the Gingerspyce druid build. It is the sequel to Northwynd The Druid True First Life Series and guide to my build for newer players. I no longer play or update this build but links are below for reference.

This series takes place in Northwynd's second life on another server where I have no friends, no guild and I'm starting with just the wealth and gear that I collected during the first series. This series will be all reaper mode, testing the limits of what a youngling version of my build can handle. The series will go all the way to level cap of 30. In every episode I will go over my enhancements, gear, spells, feats, etc.

Ah, I've missed North so much :) This series (the first one) is what taught me how to actually play this game after nearly a decade. I refer my buddies to this series to see how to play... maybe they'll actually watch one day.

Thank you for posting this. I tried to solo this as a melee but unfortunately I was not able to make progress, the invulnerability seemed to be in place while the dragons were near each other. The "change" seems to only work for certain styles it seems, or else I did something wrong. I sort of wonder what is going on under the hood

You are quite obviously a very good fellow so glad to hear you are full time on the game, couldn't happen to a nicer person. Putting up with Nimvid for that long deserves a medal in its own right :)

I am sooo glad that you are doing this. The druid build is my favorite and has a special place in my heart. Thanks for bringing us this build and revisiting it. I will always keep this build and favor it just because of flavor. It tastes sooo good....

Nice job. Impressive. Were you focused on casting cold DoTs on the dragons and the artifact?

yeah and a lot of SLA's to conserve sp, which was really tight on this old toon. I was also using Cold Spray, Quench and Mantle of the Icy soul to add vulnerability to cold.
