[Norway] NEW Fire Engine Responding! + Ladder & Divers Demo

Captured here is Briskeby Fire Station (Station 1) of the City of Oslo Fire & Rescue Department (Oslo Brann- og Redningsetaten) in the Norwegian capita city. This fire station is home to a specialized team of rescue and smoke divers, who train regularly in the waters surrounding the city. Briskeby Fire Station is also home to Ladder 13 and Engine 11, a state of the art Scania truck, which is one of the newest fire engines in the department. A special thank you goes out to the friendly firefighters of Oslo for welcoming my friend ‪@Firescue112‬ and I at their stations over the summer!

Interesting that one FF has a beard - usually you have to be clean shaven (with only a moustache at most) to have a good seal on your respirator.

Nice video of station 1 in oslo. I have not seen the reserve car for O-12 after they got repanted. I think it was the reserve for O-62 or O-32 that got the same paint like that one. Merry Christmas ☃️🎅

Nice footage from my Capital City. ;-) The new look on the fire engine is very nice. (Yellow on the "lower" part and red on the "over" part) The only thing I don't like is the siren, it feels a bit toyish for my taste. Happy X-MAS and keep the films comming. ;-)

Thank you very much! The design is great. I don agree about the siren, it doesn’t really fit well for a bug truck like this. But the yelp tone is kinda cool. Merry Christmas! ☺️

3:25 too sad the old SC(U)BA Vans are only reserve units now, I liked them better than the newer vans. The lights setup was more unique on the old ones. Nice video compilation from station 1!

Don't think I've ever seen a firefighter with a full beard before. UK firefighters are not allowed to grow one because they would be unable to get a tight seal when wearing a BA mask.

A lot of Swedish FF's seem to sport a beard so must be allowed. I notice they did not wear a safety harness when in the TTL cage, that is definitely not allowed in the UK. Nice Appliances
