Northern Brewer recently hosted a one-of-a-kind brewing demonstration featuring four traditional Norwegian-style farmhouse beers overseen by two farmhouse brewers visiting Minnesota from Norway, Ivar Geithung and Johnny Pedersen. With support from St. Paul Homebrewers Club and other local homebrewers, Ivar and Johnny produced beers from four regions of Norway [Heimabrygg: Voss-Style Hard-Boiled Ale; Stjordalsol: Stjordal-Style Alderwood-Smoked Raw Ale; Konnol: Northwest Norwegian Style Raw Ale, and Eastern Norway Style Boiled Mash Semi-Raw Ale] which included a LOT of unique ingredients and techniques that American homebrewers are not used to seeing or tasting.
Join us Tuesday, October 17, 2023 (7-9pm) at Northern Brewer HQ in Roseville, MN to sample the beers brewed at this event and talk with the local brewers who took part in the brew day and fermented the wort.
