22:14, this is great a common mistake is for players to react to their pieces being attacked, in this case your bishop, instead of looking for opportunities they have. Nice one Ben 👍🏻

4:35 I really like how you had a hunch and then reasoned your way to the best move Nc3

22:51, very true you’re going to win a bunch of stuff, just remember that beautiful feeling and the adrenaline that it brings can be our enemy too.

Love watching your games. When you break down the moves, you make it look so simple! Well done!

6:45 good reasoning for the pawn sac, I might have played Bf4 or Qe2,Rfd1, but giving up the pawn does open things up to exploit your development lead.

I agree with you on Blackadder, they have just added seven series of Only fools and horses on a Norwegian streaming service my wife and I have watched them all over the last two weekends wonderful stuff for your perfect tv category.

Love how you hadn’t seen the tactic attacking the rook. I love the Dune books too, the films were good, only seen the first of the new Dune films so far.

Yeah, the second one comes out in 2024 I think.

29:57 a knight does indeed struggle to attack that formation, it is however very vulnerable to attack by a king in the endgame.

19:58 my priority would be reactivating the knight on h2 Nf1 then Ng3 attacking the bishop, so I wouldn’t like to play g3, Nf1 also makes it difficult for black to play g3.

13:10, you talk of good placement of your minor pieces. I agree, a thing which takes my attention is the square c4 good spot for a knight and difficult to challenge without giving up the bishop or making a terrible positional concession like b5

Worried you’re trying to get your finger in too many pies. Chess content provider, referee, dog walker, cat breeder, burger maker, book writer, scouts operator. That’s not including the husband and father duties and any other jobs I’ve missed out. Thanks for the content and hope you can channel your passion in a particular direction. Good luck Hunty
