Correct me if I’m wrong, my foundation in the Lord Jesus Christ is so strong with what He did for me. I personally don’t want to avoid these discouragers because I feel that God has given me a gift to help them. It never leaves me feeling negative at the end of the day. It takes patience to listen to a person, because they are blind and need help too. As you begin to be more Christlike and even smile at what they say, even if it is wrong, but listen to them first, then ask if you can say something, you’d be surprised after the days go by that their outer shells begin to crack. I think it takes a stronger person, emotionally, but God equips certain people to take these tasks on. I always felt very strong with this gift. ☺️🙏 God bless.

No offense, but maybe you’ve never met a covert Narcissist or a psychopath yet. Because if you can help them successfully …… you will be RICH! And it isn’t about the money, it’s the fact that you would be able to accomplish something no one else can. *This still wouldn’t mean that a person who threatened to kill my children and myself …… should ever be in my life. It doesn’t matter what his side of the story is. Or why he wanted to kill 5 people at his job. Sometimes people are just crazy, and even meds don’t make the crazy go away. Not everybody is safe to be around.

Nothing wrong with that sister. Jesus walked with sinners, truly they were the chosen ones. God was around them because he knew people didn’t believe in them, but through His grace they were saved. Jesus saves everyone, not just the saints!

@@One1Luv You are absolutely right, not everyone is safe to be around. I am so sorry you experienced this. However, psychopaths are thankfully very few and far between, statistically and should absolutely be dealt with in a different manner. Nobody should keep themselves in a dangerous situation. I just think Lady Tamriel was trying to say if you can help a negative thinking person turn things around with God's help, we as Christians should. There is a fine line between helping people out of the pit and becoming like the world to help the world, in my opinion. We shouldn't change God's word or who we are as Christians, to win the world. I hope that makes sense.

I have a certain family member, and my mother, who I have had to cut out of my life. The toxic negativity they spew, while smiling in church, is horrible to see and experience. The Spiritual Gift of the Holy Spirit, Discernment, has helped me see who is really who and what. I avoid those evil who fake being a Christian.

It all.seems so simple you said until that person becomes a spouse. What gets me is the wisdom of walking away from a toxic friend or family member but not a spouse. Often I've heard "it's a spiritual attack on your marriege" is all. Well, what about a spiritual attack on your friendship or family member causing a wedge? Why is it different for a spouse?

"Discourager Distracter Destroyer"...I knew my mother was a triple D. I pray for her daily, though. I believe God will do something mighty in her life; lead her to salvation, heal her emotional wounds (and there are many!) and change her life dramatically. In the meantime, I do my best to stay away.

I needed this word. Thank you. Growing up with toxic and narcissistic ppl, God is opening my eyes to how the enemy has used those closest to me to traumatize, abuse, belittle and destroy me so that I do not walk in my calling. It is deeply painful to accept but with God's grace I let them go and embrace a deeper relationship with the Lord instead.

Every revelation and dream may not be of God,as he says in I'm not sure,I think the book of Jeremiah,where he says,all you false prophets,led my people astray with your worthless visions and dreams,you said peace,you fed dreams and visions of prosperity to my people,that were worthless,and caused my people to stumble...not turning from their wicked ways...in these days,were in the days where,everyone is the others bad influence,because everybody has become one another's stumbling blocks,he says,in those days,he will let the prophet tell his dream and vision,and let everyone stumble upon one another ..keep on with our visions and dreams of lies...everyone tells his vision,and then,the other his vision,distorting the word if God...therefor,I will let you tell your vision,I myself will let you,everyone says,I saw a vision,I saw a dream,the lord say,when I never spoke to them,I never said anything...they soeaj out of their own delusions,all the delusions of their hearts...I will let them tell their dreams and visions,they will seek the light,but I will find darkness,because they did not inquire if me,ir seek my instruction...they followed the dreams and desires of their hearts,deceiving one another,in order that they do not turn to me...and will wonder why we can not see the light... God definitely revealed some things to me this year that really hurt. I’ve been walking with Jesus for a very long time, but I’ve lacked in areas (prayer life, faith, etc.) When I thought I was strong, I was tested and the Lord showed me who certain people were. He showed me that some people are SEASONAL and will NOT be going with me on my journey. I’m ready for the blessings and I’m ready to move on. Thank you, Father, for everything You are about to reveal.

@classyt20f7 My sister or brother in Christ, all you have to do is cry out to Him. He’s never left your side, He was only waiting for you to come back home. Ask Him for forgiveness, and do your best to make a steady commitment to do right. That doesn’t mean things will be perfect, but you’ll be trying, and He will see that. Don’t carry the burden by yourself. Praying that joy and light will flow back into your life, in Jesus’ name. 🧡&🙏🏾

This message really touched me ... as I listened I cried and God began to speak. God is doing a lot of things in my life at one time right now. Removing people that are not good for me, telling me to let go of things that bother me that they are doing or have done. I don’t understand a lot of what God is doing but I know God’s ways are not my ways and His thoughts are not my thoughts. My prayer is that God bring the right people in my life and remove people that mean no good to me.. Sometimes I feel it’s only me , God and one friend in my life right now.

I got a construction job and went and used ppl that were homeless and helped them out. And those who I trusted to be friends or family were the ones who used me and stole from me. My truck is failing and I don't have funds to fix it, and all those I believed in, none have offered to help me. But the good Lord has kept me alive and I am crawling around in not physically but mentally, and I will not back down to satin. I know for those struggling keep on pushing as long as you have life and it will come because of faith.
