I would personally recommend James to spend as much time as possible with the boys as one day he will wish he had done the little things with them like going to the cinema or trampoline park and from my own experience with my dad, I wish I had more memories of doing things with him he’s not dead or anything but I don’t have the type of relationship with him as I would liked to have had lol anyways sorry for the depression session. I'm with Claire, when it's sunny I drag everyone into the garden, I built decking, made the grass as best as I could, bought all furniture and a giant parasol for the anti-sun brigade and all I hear is "its hot, The Chase is on, I can't breath...yeah wait until later when the sun goes down, see how you breath with a pillow over your head.

Hehe 😂 James talking about his mum on the phone! Coincidentally, my YT profile picture was taken by my mum in the early 90s, shortly after one of those ‘Mum ffs get off the phone’ moments. At that moment, there wasn’t anything much in the fridge and I was getting pretty hangry, mum had said we’d go to Safeway but then the phone rang. The ‘house phone’ was at the bottom of the stairs in the hallway, at this point my mum and been on the phone to one of her teacher friends for almost two hours! Repeated calls from me to hurry up we’re ignored. So, I decided to make her laugh so hard that she had to hang up, I put on a disguise consisting of a shower cap, two Bic razors as sideburns, a pair ok joke glasses from a Christmas cracker and a bit of tin foil from a wrigleys spearmint chewing gum wrappers as some sort of bond-like Jaws teeth 🤣 I crept down the stairs and tapped my mum on the shoulder and said, “We need to go to Safeway NOW!” Luckily it worked, and she laughed so much that she hung up. Unfortunately, my mum was a teacher in the local school and so it took 2 hours to get around Safeway because she knew everyone all the parents, and started chatting again 🤦‍♂️

@James dude please chill and do don't do what i did and not do because its crap. Its not about you its about being together. I have followed you both from the beginning and when you started i was happily married. Now i am unhappily alone and Divorced and not seen my kids since April and its not bee through not trying. My point is no matter how strong you think your relationship is it can change very quickly and and by surprise and you should never take for granted your time with the family growing up and just be there no matter how miserable you feel or tiered because if you ever end up like me you will miss it.

Another great vlog and I agree with two very important points. Firstly, those one sided callers. Do they honestly think that they have to talk so loud that they have to be heard over the distance of the call?! My Nan used to do that too as well as my Mum. Obviously passed down! And secondly, YES to the beetroot on the chips! Here was us thinking James would show his culinary skills for the first time and yet.......no spoilers!!!! And Claire, we love you too!!!! xx
