November 22, 1963 - President John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline leave Chamber of Commerce, Fort Worth

President John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy leaves Forth Worth Chamber of Commerce and enter the Fort Worth motorcade limousine with Governor John Connally. The limousine was on loan from professional golfer Ben Hogan. They motorcade drives up Main St. and passes a brass band and viewing stand in Downtown Fort Worth. The city’s Christmas decorations are already up along the motorcade route.

I’ll be 67 on November 29th of 2021 and l will never forget the horror of that day. Being let out of the 4th grade and told to ho right home. The reaction of people on the street. I grew up in Boston, MA on Beacon Hill and JFK held an apartment 4 streets away right across from the State House. May he Rest In Peace.

Since I am a teenager every Nov 22nd I remember and wonder what if... We have a statue of JFK in Montreal and I saw roses on the 50th anniversary. We, Canadians will forever remember that tragic and sad day in 1963.

I can't stand to watch this. It was the day after my 12th birthday. I kept a scrapbook, which was actually a folder with my lined school paper. I'd collected pictures out of magazines of him & family since before the election. My best friend brought me some pictures to school that day. We sneaked & pasted them on the paper. Then we went outside for the physical fitness class. We didn't have a gym. It was a beautiful fall day here in Southeast Kentucky. The principal rang for us to come back in. He made the announcement. We couldn't believe it. I'll be 68 years old on the 21st. I believe I will remember this as long as I have a memory. I remember before he died also. I think he was a great leader.

A true rockstar for a President . So regal and royal . I still mourn his loss and how our country never recovered . I live down the street in Fort Worth where JFK spent his last night , .so sad .

Mickelson Funny I remember going in the classroom before announcement. The janitor, who was also a country Baptist was talking to our teacher. I remember thinking something is wrong. The look on his face. After the announcement everyone was quite. I don't believe we had taken it in. The students on my bus were quite. I couldn't believe it. No one talked. When I got home to my mother, I cried then. We had gotten on the bus immediately after the announcement.

I've sat in JFK's seat in the white Lincoln he used in Ft Worth. The upholstery is blood red. Eerie feeling.

Why wasn't JFK in the presidential limousine? I understand they stopped at multiple cities on that trip but just seems odd. I know someone will say the SS wasn't able to protect him anyway but after the Chicago & Miami plot I would not take any chances especially in Texas at that time. I haven't heard anyone ever address why they filmed the motorcade making their way to D Plaza (not this film) so wheres the rest or why did they stop filming - conceal the truth is the answer but all these theories in books, docs and movies it's not addressed. 2 names I wished were talked about more are Thomas Author Valle & Richard Case Nagal. I'm starting to think there was never one Oswald and there was multiple people playing the role creating a legend or sheep dipping.
