That's how you're supposed to eat them. You spit the husk out but yeah, they're coated in most of the flavour. who has time to shell sunflower seeds with their hands 😂

@@fraxinus_ash you’re supposed to put 1 (or more I guess) in your mouth, suck on it until the flavour is gone, then spit out the husk. Shelling sunflower seeds with your hands is rather difficult. I think what people are referring to is the fact that they did try to eat them with the husks, and only spat them out cause it was gross.

@@NovympiaLithuanians know food - we make a lot of our own food and the quality is genuinely great (although American corporations are buying up our businesses and fucking up the flavours same as in the UK - fuck Nestle!). As a latvian: 1st - a big part of these brands are either latvian or lithuanian and trading in latvia or somewhere else but also sold in both of the countries. 2nd - estrella has their crisp game on lock!❤ 3rd - you missed out on Migle candy in the last baggy...ijs

After a long week of reopening my workplace after a refurb, this has just got me in my happy place. I came home and flung my pants off and settled in to start relaxing. Its been an intense week getting the theatre Lighting sorted out before a few days of open house, performances, films, bubbles and dance. This was a very welcome end of the week treat.

My loves. It's best to shell sunflower seeds, as the outter shells are tough and fibrous and are not easily digestible. They could possibly cause gastrointestinal trauma. Do your tummies a favor. Shell your seeds. Love youuuuu girls.

You guys are the only channel that I am subscribed to. I love learning about different cultures especially food, art, fashion, and music. My mother's side is Lithuanian but I know about as much as Nova does when it comes to Lithuanian culture, so I was intrigued to learn something about it. You two are beyond hilarious and gorgeous, I could literally never! Just a racist florida woman with Jewish cancer wanting to say "hello is it me you're looking for?" LOL! Keep on being your lovely selves. As a gay guy in Florida it really has been shite and you two are a much needed respite from the hateful things the governor of my state has done to the LGBTQIA+ community and the public schools. When I get a better job, hopefully within the next year, I will absolutely become a patron and I for sure am going to send you the most epic snack box you have ever seen. If you are in the UK, there are multiple online stores you could buy stuff from. I have found some snack boxes on eBay but, what I have seen so far, those are insanely expensive.

Okay, to defend myself - Estrella crisps are the most popular crisps in Lithuania. However, when I googled while preparing this box that Estrella was actually not Lithuanian (or Latvian, our snacks almost identical), I was SHOOK and BETRAYED. 😅😂

Yeah, estrella are my FAVOURITE. Also the sunflower seeds need to be deshelled! Either: put the shell inbetween your back teeth and apply pressure till it pops, it’ll pop out the seed then spit out the shell! Or use your fingers to squeeze it between your thumb & index. As kids: we’d take a handful of seeds, pop into our mouth and off we go chewing and spitting 😂 the streets used to be filled with them from what I can remember. Halva may be used as a spread or as a snack, just something you’d grab a bite out of a cupboard whenever you’re peckish. Anthill is a dessert! It’s called that because its structure is shaped like an ant colony, not because there’s ants on it hehe 😊

You girls need to learn to spit seeds…, you pop several sunflower seeds in your mouth, crack one at a time with your teeth, eat the seed and spit the shells! My kids played baseball and seeds are a must for watching games. Don’t eat all of the shells, a few are fine but not all of them.

But finally 3 thai friends flolowed me in June this year. They really like LITHUANIA - exotic for them.. cause mostly thourists from Thailand love to visit EU-countries like France, Italy, Austria and Switzerland also Scandinavia. Not sure if someone commented this already. Hematogenas - the thing you called a protein bar is made from cows blood. Used to be kinda popular "healthy" sweet for kids as it has iron, b12 vitamins because its made from blood
